A bit boring noways but isn't it great to see young Lewis Hamilton (local lad as well) going so well. Great win today in Canada. Hopefully the pressure won't get to him and he continues to impress.
"Lewis Hamilton drove a copybook race to win the Canadian Grand Prix and take his first Formula One victory in only the sixth race of his career. The Englishman led a dramatic race throughout, driving with composure as the field fell apart around him. He survived four interventions by the safety car to head Nick Heidfeld of BMW Sauber and Williams's Alexander Wurz. World champion Fernando Alonso finished seventh and Robert Kubica survived a huge crash after rolling his BMW." well done to Hamilton, what a start hes had to his F1 career
i rekopn he'll win the championship this season as Maclaren allow him to win , which i think they should considering he is 8 points ahead of Alonso. Great Drive today , especially with all the crashes and safety cars.
now to watch his sportdaq va;ue rise back to the 30 plus mark , especially as the next grand prix is only 7 days away , Interest should be good . rekon he will get back to back victories in indianapolis
In the 1 hour 45 minute race the only thing I missed was the Kubica crash! Great win for Lewis! Although I don't think McLaren will be too keen to let him beat the reigning champion to the title... although it would be nice!
I just watched the Kubica crash on YouTube, it's incredible he might still be able to race next week! The way he went head on into the wall whilst flying in the air is the most spectacular crash I've seen for a while in F1...
According to the official F1 site a decision will be made on Thursday http://www.formula1.com/race/news/6257/775.html
Even less, it's only been 13 years since Ayrton Senna's crash and that was much less of a crash compared to Kubica. This one is quite emotional, with yawnmongers - Fix You as the backing tune, of course we musn't forget that Roland Ratzenberger also died in the same race that year.
