Aaaah well! i suppose spending 200 squid on flights just to see us get hammered isn't so bad is it? Well now that i say it...........:rant: the weekend started around 3pm friday afternoon. after the electrician was frantically trying to piece together our new tv, whilst we were running around the house like headless chicken wondering why we didnt bother packing in the previous 2 or 3 days!!! we made our check in time with 2 minutes to spare.flight was ok coming over. a dodgy helping of english 'fisn n chips' once id arrived and i was sorted!! saturday came and i was loking forward to the game. we left the house round half 3. half hour drive into watford and spent ages trying to fing parking. whilst doing so i noticed something in the distance whilst entering into the church carpark. 'The One Bell' immediatley rang a bell (sorry:]] ) negotiations began with my non-drinking uncle. 'no' being the immediate answer.:rant: feck. then when he said he had to take his son to get some game, i saw my chance. so i popped in, not knowing of any faces to look for bar rookery 'orn's and faiths who i'd seen a quick glipse of. i didnt see either i think i noticed 1 guy. danny or warehouse but i wasnt sure. the pub was tiny and considering the amout of people were in it! ansd i would have stayed longer if i were on my own. anyway, i left dissapointed. heading toward the ground, straight to the ticket office. apparently i qualify for a silver membership as i live over 75 miles away (just a tad:]] ). headed to the rookery shop and left with a dvd of last season and a nice scarf. match itself was pretty poor. evertonians scattered all over the vic rd end which was a shame to see. i was hoping for a better atmosphere but the scoreline prevented the fans from getting too excitied. enjoyed being there though. was thrilled to hear ireland thumped england in the rugby which cheered me up a little flight home was delayed then experienced severe turbulence!!!!!! i like flying and i found it quite bad got today off as we got back so late. hopefully the result against plymouth will be a lil better hopefully i'll get to see some of you in there!!! i thank you all for listening.
