Generally not bad performance for most of the game. Should have had 3 or 4 to be honest,. can't believe the amount of tap ins and clear cut chances we missed. Thought Richards, Beckham and Wright-Philips all did well. I have never understood why Robinson is England keeper. He is is average at best.
Thought we played well but Beckham looked knackered towards the end of the game. Don't think Lampard played well but did his job which is to get in the box and score. Richards could develop into a world class defender - so finally we may have a replacement for Neville. Smith did ok holding the ball up and can somebody tell me why we won't play 2 up front when Crouch is on the field? Dont get me started on that tool Robinson.
Yeah but don't forget he has been injured for ages, and is only playing for LA Galaxy. Scored a great free kick for them the other day thinking about it. Wish he'd bloody do it for us.

Went staright from work as was working down the road in Neasden. Wasn't interested in seeing the new Wembley as what i have seen on the telly so far the ground is mainly full of fat women and their fat f*cking kids, Sold my £30 ticket for £80 to a german, watched it in the pub.
bored so will do a mini blog Went up on train with mate this afternoon after bit of time in town and the rileys pool/snooker place. Got to ground earlyish (about 30mins before k/o). About 10mins before kick off Cude and Cathrinaj from here walk up steps and turns out their sitting next to us (in the back row of the upper tier). Game was cr@p made worse by the fact we had a small group of german ****s 8 or 9 rows ahead of us in the england end for thought they could cheer when they scored a goal. Sadly it didn't seem to bother anyone around us including the stewards. So other than a few objects thrown from us and some dirty looks from cude they got away with it. After game (and cude having a "quiet word" word with one of the german fans who was in our end outside) waited ages to get to station and then home. Boring game and uneventful evening.

Had to get there early to pick up my replacement tickets that got lost in the post. Nearly didnt get them as you had to bring ID with you, so i managed to get them because i had my bank card on me (phew). Because we had re-issued tickets, we had moved from where we were meant to sit on the halfway line, to a corner on the other side of the stadium above the germany fans :-\ Micah Richards should definatly have claimed a place now after that performance last night, he played so well, linking up with Beckham on the right. Great little run for Lampards goal. I thought Lampard played better that usual, but that was probably because the midfield was more balanced without Gerrard. Barry did alright when he came on too, had some good touches. Shaun Wright-Phillips! On for like 25mins and manages to bag himself MOTM But we really need to play better if we want to qualify!
In fairness though DJ, there was nothing there to suggest that this crop of players, even with Gerrard or Rooney thrown in, are anywhere near capable of winning a trophy in the next 3 years. We are far too limited. I'd argue we do not have one striker of international standard at the moment (Rooney is not a striker) and apart from a glut of centre halves we just don't have enough good players. I'm as doom and gloom about England as I am about Watford.
i think we should accept that despite his mad skills crouch isn't good enough and play some sort of dutch total football style without a proper striker. it can't be any more ineffective or boring than the current system
