Eons ago when the E.U originally exapnded i made a thread on the official boards about looking towards Eastern Europe for new players. Since then we've only signed Tamas Priskin but i still think its a good idea and still as of yet an untapped gold mine. Does everyone still think its a bad idea?
true, but for the most part everyone is adept at english to some degree and given that all cultures in europe are to an extent homogenized, it's less of a problem to buy there than anywhere else abroad.
I don't know why it is then. It cannot be due to the quality since there are eastern europeans in every league in europe.
The main problem with eastern european players from countries ouside the EU is obviously the permits. However i think that the lack of eastern european signings is due to the openly admitted lack of confidence that aidy has in the foreign market.
