I was just reading Dolores's wiki page and it mentioned her air rage incident a few years ago: I followed the reference where it mentioned this: Can any Irish 'Orns exapnd on what the poor box is - I'm assuming it's just ADR without escalating to full legal proceedings. The poor box is an option used by local District Courts, where a Judge, instead of formally fixing a criminal conviction on an accused, will direct that a contribution (assessed by the Judge) by the accused to "the poor box" will avoid them having a criminal record. It is used at a Judge's discretion. It is an informal option, which is not set out in the Court rules. It allows those who have no history of crime to get a break. It is usually used in smaller less serious crimes. The monies gathered through the year are distributed to local charities before Christmas.
Very sad to hear of her death at such a young age. She certainly was a massive talent. It seems that she had her demons and that fame did not sit easy with her. Huge lass to her family, friends and fans. RIP
