Derby want King

Derby are considering a move for prolific Watford striker Marlon King. (Mirror)

But i doubt he'd go anywhere as boothroyd already denied an offer from a premiership club in the summer.

with southampton announcing that they nearly went into administartion in the close season, derby may well be teasing southampton with this so they sell the player that derby are after at the price proposed or just a little bit over..

 

So is my Sunday team, but doesn't mean we'll sign him.

Cant see it materialising, he looks like he love sit here, and Boothroyd has paid great belief in him, I cannot see him moving to a premiership club that will be a championship club in a year, instead of scoring bucket loads here and potentially propelling watford back into the premiership.

 

I can think of better ways to waste 350 quid

Not really the money, it's more the principal...thou shall not sell the 'crown jewells'...so if King is sold I will be sticking my season ticket card thingy straight up Boothroyd's....

 

Why not give it too one of the people priced out of a season ticket from hemel, oxhey etc? I'm sure they'd appreciate the gesture.

 

Or I could just give it to a broke, lazy student...

do you think that forwards want to come to us knowing htat they are going to be No 2 to king ?

If we sold King would more players be prepared to come to us, knowing they have more chance of first team football ?

 

Tough s**t, that's their problem. I'd rather keep King.

 

And I want to win the lottery, but there is little f***ing chance of that either.

 

Why would he join Derby, pile of s**t who are going to pass us in May anyway. He's also under contract so this time unless it's over 10 mio tell them to take a hike. Besides which I think all the time Aidy is manager he won't go anywhere.
