You can limit receipt of PMs to moderators and those on your Buddy List if you go to Edit Options in your PM.
The easiest thing to do is to accept only PMs from those on your buddy list.. that way if you havent added them as a buddy they cant PM you Dont whoosh me please.. silly me didnt scroll all the way to the bottom so just said what had already been said!! lol
