"A rapper's delight? Or a rapper's dilemma? Two American rappers are making waves in jolly old England, and they aren't exactly good ones at that. First, there is Snoop Dogg, who is urging the English government to rethink his visa denial. Snoop Dogg's visa application was denied and he may have to forget the UK leg of his and Puff Diddy's European tour, after he was refused entry due to his very real and serious criminal record. According to MTV, Snoop, who is scheduled in to play London's Wembley arena tomorrow (March 27), said, "With my mic and my presence I can reach kids the politicians can't and tell them to stop the violence and killings that are currently going on in the UK. "I'm here to perform and give people what they want - to be a peace figure. Me and Puffy come from a background where with the east coast and the west coast there were a lot of diferences in the hip hop community. But now we want to go around the world and show positive examples in the UK." Snoop was apologetic for his criminal past, but apologies may be too little, too late. "I think if people could hear me saying this they'd see I'm about peace, love and harmony," he told MTV. "To be stopped at the door of England where the hip hop scene is big and great rappers like Slick Rick came from, is bad. Along with Dogg, rapper Puff P Diddy has shocked English promoters with his over the top demands. The music mogul, who is touring the UK this week, reportedly insisted London's The Collection Club provided luxury cars and £150,000 in expenses. The Collection Club, who offered to host Diddy's after-show party for free tomorrow (27.03.07), were stunned by the request for a £77,000 chauffeur-driven Masarati Quattroporte, a Ferrari cake, £240,000 Rolls-Royce, £287,000 Mercedes Maybach and three black SUV vehicles."
