by today! The only half decent thing Francis did was score. I would be really gutted if I was an Ipswich fan....maybe that is their problem all season? We looked like the team with 10 men. As for the atmosphere made...well it could have been Portman Road to be honest. Only credit to Bouazza,Cavilli,Smith and Mariappa. The rest...in differeny ways were woeful. We mugged those Tractors Boys.
Disagree, last season we played well and won, but we also played badly and still got something. If anything it shows we do have the winning habbit back?! Maybe i'm just being optimistic...but as i said on the other thread, ipswich were always going to be up for (as we would be if roles had been reversed). Lets just be happy, normally we've played well and lost to last min goals, today we've done what others have done to us!
I hope you're right. This season, we have played well and lost, played well and won, played godawful and lost and now we have played pathetically and won. We will need to play better in the league, but if our luck has turned a corner then...........
did you post this on the bbc messageboard aswell? i agree it was definately daylight robbery, but it was like their fa cup final, and no matter what anyone says their minds will have partailly been on the wigan game. (thats my excuse for the performance)
Daylight robbery ? ;D;D Great isn't it, makes a change to get lucky for once and i loved it, i haven't come away from the vic with so much pleasure in me for quite some time. I don't feel sorry for the ipsh*t fans, good god no. I took great pleasure and watching them stand there in silence as i went more mental than i have done at a home game for quite a while. Their fans were singing about 1-0 to the ref etc when it's only the niggly decisions that went against them and they don't win matches. They decided to time waste and got punished. Magilton couldn't take it and acted like a fool. ;D I'm delighted.
Yes..sorry! I find it easier just to post the same comments in here and on the BBC site unless somebody has already made a thread.
If I was an Ipswich fan I would be gutted that they had lost. However how many times have we felt like that this season. We just seem to be having the luck and decisions going our way that we didn't have in the first half of the season. Long may it continue
Ipswich were royally screwed but as inbreds they should be used to that. Great to be through and now looking forward to tomorrow's draw. However, we shouldn't paper over the cracks - we were desperately bad and I hope this was just one bad game before we resume our assault on Premiership survival:happy1: :happy1:
