DAY 5 - Werewolf 2018

Feeling euphoric for the kind protection she'd received from the last two nights, HappyHornet24 went home and set the dining table ready for a celebratory feast. She disappeared into the kitchen and prepared the meal and set it on the table. She returned to the kitchen to get the pepper mill and as she re-entered the dining room she saw a wolf sat at the table. The wolf had taken a taste of the food and immediately spat it out, the furry monster obviously preferred the taste of blood. She ran back out to the kitchen but saw another wolf there. She was cornered by the two grinning wolves, one picked up an empty blue bottle smashed the end off and continued where he'd tried the night before. The frenzy this time was short lived but they had their target this time.

HappyHornet24 was VERY GOOD

In another house along the road another villager had also come home from the lynching in a great mood. Cassetti's Beard too got his dinner ready, not as classy as his neighbour but on the right occasion a Pot Noodle satisfies a grown man. After finishing the last bit of rubbery chicken and sucking out the final drop of soy sauce from the sachet, Cassetti's Beard had a thirst on. He rummaged around his drinks cabinet and found a red bottle that he didn't remember owning before, there was a label attached saying "Enjoy a drink, An Admirer". Cassetti's Beard detected that the label had a flowery scented smell, "Wahey, someone loves me!" He exclaimed to himself. So he removed the cork and took a hefty swig. After gulping down the drink, he felt drunk, "Wooaah, that's mighty strong stuff," then he slumped to the floor.

Cassetti's Beard was GOOD

Oh, real bummer...thought the Guardian said he could save the Seer again. So what did he do last night?

Make no mistake, team Good have been very fortunate. The Seer outing nornironhorn is about the only thing of note we have accomplished. Were it not for the blue potion and silver bullet this game would be all but over.

We have two wolves to find and no Seer. We need to think long and good over our choices. So far nobody's taken much notice of the quiet ones. Squibba and WAS mostly.

The wolf killing CB was a mistake, (if it was a wolf who decided where to plant the drink) as I would have added him in the quiet list so happy for the help there.

The red potion is the opposite of the blue it seems. Kills a good instead of saves a good.

Best I can come up with is we have another new character an alchemist witchy type wandering around hiding little bottles that are good and bad .

 

Expected but not good. Wonder if we'll get a backup Seer.

Is the label having a flowery scented smell a clue to whom the drink came from?

 

Sorry Guys, my fault with CB

I had two bottles of poison / healing liquid I could use. One would kill, as last night and one would heal, hence HH24 survived the wolves at the end of day 3

It was a toss up between CB and PO - looks like I went the wrong way - sorry

Back to being a villager now

 

Then Squibba and Steve or PJ. Our two wolves are right there. Mike if he is a wolf going to Barbados mid game isn't much we can do about.

 

So... Once again 2 wolves went together on one kill rather than kill separately? An apprentice or cub wolf that either can't go on their own or at least not yet but obviously we still have to lynch them.

And I don't really get the bottle thing yet I have to say.

 

Just out of curiosity what was your role called ,sad we lost CB , chuffed that I actually called it correctly above for the first time ever of my attempts at this game.

Norway might have been turned into wolf 3.

Got a bad feeling we wont get any messages today ,like you say I hope we get a back up seer .

 

Pointless sitting twiddling your thumbs waiting for a message. Better to use your time rereading each day paying particular attention to those of us left, how much they have participated, how they have voted and anything else you find odd you may have missed before.

 

My bluff to survive the night worked - I wanted the wolves to think that it would advantage them to keep me alive.

Unfortunately my flight does leave at 11.30 so I will have to vote very early.

Squibba, Steve and P.O. are most suspicious in my eyes, in that order. Norway is still a suspect, however NI kept bringing up yesterday that he might be evil, which makes me suspect he is not.

On balance, I might be tempted to vote for Squibba. Kept alive despite non votes and minimal posts. There might be a reason for it.

Plus, the fact the wolf always posts after the seer, suggests a non-engaged player.

With 19 players at the start, I think there will be a back up seer and from memory, I think they get told the results of the first seer's info?

Do we know if NI was the alpha wolf? Could be 2 new styles of writing today. We can rely on everything Happy told us as fact apart from there is a chance Norway isn't now good.

 

Just a thought
Could the lack of communication between the wolves be to do with international wolf time differences between when they post and when another is more active - PM ?

 

Ok we need to look at it objectively, going through each player who they have voted for and why etc.

The most successful villager in terms of his voting. Also importantly voted for Moog prior to me shooting Harrow and had a decisive vote on Norn.

The more I look at this from Mike, the more I think he was trying to make sure I protect myself, thus leavung everyone else a target.

Yesterday he was very quick to agree with my suspicions on CB, who we know was good:

"Good call. CB really needs to be viewed."

I am worried he has been subtly trying to make us use powers in ways that will benefit him.....

Based on analysis if we are going on the basis of voting, we would be wise to think about: miked2006, norwayhornet, Philippine horn, powerjugs and squibba. We cannot rule out Steve or With A Smile, but on the basis of their voting they have been a hindrance to evil.

 

Your bit about me is completely untrue. Re-read the thread. When I voted for Moog, the votes were 3-2 to get rid of Harrow. I made it 3-3.

I worked out the logic for voting out Moog anyway once Harrow outed himself as the Guardian. It made no sense going for Moog, when the guardian could protect themselves (see my post to HH yesterday).

I also definitely voted for Norn before the outcome was decided, but I think that doesn’t count as much as he was gone the second HH saw him.

 

You thought my plan was to get you to protect yourself and convince people to kill Moog, to help team evil? Really?

 

Opti we have 9 players 2 we know are good , we have 7 players all just as likely to be evil as each other is basically what your saying

Seriously We know at one stage we had 3 wolves thus one was turned , We know happy viewed me as good on day one , we also know that doesnt matter ,
However of everyone else in your list of 7 has any evidence supporting them to be good?

We really need Mehs list of who he slept with ,although that also is now put into doubt by the 3rd wolf scenario
We really really need a back up Seer, although if that was going to happen you would have thought they might have given us a message by now.
