First there was the Fiorentina , then the interest of Juventus . But now David Zappacosta could finish the Premier League . According to reports from the expert market Sportitalia Alfredo Pedull* for the future of the exterior forward the candidacy of Watford , who is working with great power to bring the former Avellino England. tuttomercatoweb http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/seri...osta-avanza-la-candidatura-del-watford-698635 Currently at Atalanta
Thanks G O B E. There was an earlier tweet today I had noticed, which started off about Santon and then mentioned this guy, but it was so badly translated I couldn't fathom out whether it was us or Inter that were after him!
Liverpool are sniffing. seems like a good guy from this: http://www.tribalfootball.com/artic...apoli-are-chasing-the-flying-fullback-4084047
Yes, maybe the prospect of regular games might be more attractive than bench-warming at Liverpool. He certainly likes the idea of EPL.
Likeable winger/fullback/wingback who spent time in non league but came back and won promotion with his team whilst still driving his old car? This man is just the Italian Ikechi Anya.
Yes he said needs regular football at this stage of his career. Have to decided to get very excited by this one just so I can feel suitably let down when he goes to Napoli
I watched it; I have to say I was mostly busy becoming increasingly incandescent with rage at the lazy impotence of our own team's performance and posting about it on here as a result, but I can say that Italy looked vastly improved as a team from their first game in the tournament, and their defence mostly did everything they needed to do, including the fullbacks. Harry Kane was still mostly isolated and reduced to attempts from distance, and after Ings' dreadful miss in the first few minutes we really didn't have a lot of clear cut opportunities; if i remember rightly we had 20 shots but only 4 on target. Of course, it can be hard to draw a judgement when there were so many appallingly inaccurate shots from every one of our attackers, perhaps he would have looked slightly less effective had some of our shots actually troubled the goalkeeper...
It's a travesty that there are no YouTube videos of him on here :dismay: The guy has video made for him by the Italian Football Federation!! Maybe this guy is good... Should he join us, it will mean under the Pozzos we've fielded players whose surnames begin with 22 of the 26 letters of the alphabet. Only K, Q, U and X won't have been covered!
Torino have a had a bid accepted for him and Baselli (who's already agreed) and he's reportedly asked for two days to consider it. Running out of RB options if Nyom and Santon are off.
The first right back we were linked with this summer was Richards and I think it's a real pity we didn't get him.
How can Torino consider letting Zappacosta go when they've already let Darmian go to Utd? Surely selling all their right-backs is slightly foolhardy...
Running out of options? I take it you've got a list of the right backs we're targeting this summer then? I'd imagine they've shortlisted more than 3 to go for this transfer window.
From the ones we've targeted so far. According to that man DiMarzio again, he's "seeing if there are other options." Basically a come and get me plea to us, really.
You've done exactly what I did, but it's actually saying that Torino are the ones who have had made a bid for him, and his club Atalanta have accepted...!
