Ok someone explain something to me.. I understand completely about Connolley but how can half of you love Smith when, granted, he wasnt quite as bad as Connolley but generally did the same thing?

I personally hate Smith because i think he isnt a good footballer and doesnt put any effort in whatsoever, and before i get shouted at about yesterdays game, i still dont think he was putting his all into it then! The amount of times i saw him stand there and literally just watch the ball when it was right in front of him was shocking.

And yes i know a lot of the team was the same but Smith for me just doesnt care enough about Watford to even play properly for us

 

Love doesn`t come into it Carly.

He is a good (if not outstanding) player who has undoubted ability, is Watford born and bred - came through the youth set-up and has given years of good service - remember the club has been through some torrid times. which must have had a bearing on his actions as well.

He has also proved to be fair value for money over time.

I think he can play better - but would rather have him in the squad than not.

 

Maybe so but i just find it offensive that he would use us to get to a certain point then leave at the first chance he could get, then proceed to basically write us off. THEN expect to just come back when he feels like it.

I will never be one of his biggest fans and can appreciate a lot of people like him. He just riles me up.

 

So why do you want Connely back then?
