A handful of games in and I'm already staring down the barrel so to speak. Having had high hopes for my Watford side in the Premiership, I've quickly been bought down to earth after only earning 2 points in the opening 5 games, leaving me in bottom place. A superb away perfomance at Fulham and I still somehow lost on the opening day, a highly dubious penalty my undoing in first half stoppage time. My first home match looked to be going well as Marlon King slammed home a penalty midway through the second half, only for Jay Demerit to score a comical own goal to earn Everton a point and leave me absolutely furious. A 2-0 away defeat to Liverpool followed, although King and new signing Adu missed a few good chances before a battling 0-0 home draw with Man City. Having given them a right whalloping but not scoring I decided changes needed to be made, and thus dropped Adu for Bouazza for my visit to Old Trafford. I got absolutely battered, and lost 4-0. Not the best start of the season. Tamas Priskin got off the mark in a 1-0 League Cup victory over Rochdale, then an unbelievable game against Arsenal. 3 sent off and a 5-0 loss. Manager Danny Walker promises wholesale changes for the next game, an away trip to Tottenham. It's not looking good currently, and I can only blame a lack of backing from the board :]]
