Been linked with a £3m move to us, Leicester and Palace according to one of the rags.

He was quality season before last but not sure he was up to much last year. Maybe worth a punt,

Would be a decent signing, but I can't see him replacing any of the current centre backs (assuming Prodl will start). Tad expensive for back up- would rather Paul McShane on a free

Well I would prefer him as back up for nothing rather than paying 3 million for a 30 year old who isn't exactly incredible...

 

Davies "isn't exactly incredible" but he's also not an utter liability, either.

 

But when we signed Cathcart, didn't many call him a complete liability? Then look what happened

 

Um, that was based on a loan spell five years ago.

McShane has been, and continues to be, an absolute liability. He's rubbish, has been for many years, and will continue to be. On a free transfer or otherwise.

 

No good for us then. I prefer our defenders to have the "Nosworthy Syndrome". Look great but at least once a game have one of those moments where the whole ground holds their breath! Keeps us all on our toes

 

Well despite my previous comments against Davies, at least he would join Watson in our list of 'FA Cup final scorers'....

 

The idea of one of the best players Luton have produced in modern times finally working his way up the pyramid to sign for Watford is inspirational and poetic.

 

Especially if we leave him to rot on the bench
