I suppose so, but call me 'old skool'*, but I like to think that for there to be an away team, there normally has to be a home team too (and not just whichever one gets the nicest dressing room and whose fans get the biggest pub).

If we're fighting based on the local architecture, it'd be more appropriate to try to beat each other to death with Pot Noodles and dangerously defective Argos fan heaters.

 

Apparently there's a police station by Oliver Grove. I don't fancy getting nicked so unless the 'meet' is relocated, I'm going to back out of this one.

BREAKING - CURRENT SCENE IN OLIVER GROVE

Surely the local residents could also be those that have made a number of 'ultimate sacrifices' to send their kids to private school? Hence the wee motors. Our communal gardener has actually made that decision and those sacrisfices. Consequently, he has eff all extra disposable cash ...

 

Perhaps I could recommend Farquhar Road SE19?

I lived at number 1 (with a slovenly student punk girl) and number 5 (with a back-stabbing, double-crossing, work colleague shagger) in this road at various times and it's highly recommended for fights. It has every facility needed including a pub for pre-scrap drinks/planning and a launderette for washing blood-stained clothing afterwards.

The railings on the right lead to a wide and deep moat where train tracks used to run once, but which is now filled with wild undergrowth, old carpets and rats. Ideal for corpse disposal.

Selhurst Park is a mere short hop away on the 410 bus or a couple of stops on the train.

Where the M reg Merc is parked on the corner is precisely the same spot where my Mk3 Cortina got wiped out by a drunk driver neighbour who refused to come out and discuss it with me afterwards, but would only lean out of his first floor window and shout abuse.

 

We could also make some very funny and smart puns like "Farq off mate!" at the beginning
