Sunderland, West Brom and Watford eye Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma. #SAFC #WBA #watfordfc From Pete O'Rourke with a link to everyone's favourite site HITC.
I've honestly given up taking notice of rumours. I'm going undersground until something actually happens.
Annoyingly though, hes heard of Watford Gap and like everyone else thinks thats where Watford is. Grrrr
The deterioration of GD's mental state has been an absolute joy to witness. He's gone completely insane.
Just been released on a free and is only 32, thought he was a lot older. Would be a decent signing I think, and we need a defensive midfielder(or two).
I seriously think this fella would be a good signing for us! Apparently only MLS clubs are looking at him according to today's report, and surely he'd prefer a chance to play in the Premier League. Arsenal were linked with him in January before Coquelin became an automatic starter. I don't think he'll stay a free agent for long though, so if we are interested hopefully we can make our move soonish. Even if we get Capoue and Guedioura in, Ledesma would be decent to have in the squad when the inevitable midfield injury happens.
Di Marzio love2 saying we're interested and contacts are ongoing http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/eng/...r-lazio-midfielder-ledesma-on-going-contacts/
Could be on again......or maybe not http://m.calcionews24.com/ledesma-watford-manca-accordo-sull-ingaggio-453049.html
Another article putting us down. My pigeon Italian suggests something about when he drove through Watford he was mostly passing concrete. Go to Rome or Florence if you want a beautiful city. Or stoke.
For those without access to google translate, the article says; LEDESMA WATFORD CALCIOMERCATO - After nine years as captain , Cristian Ledesma left the Lazio . A painful choice due to the non-renewal of the contract but the Argentine midfielder is ready to dive into a new and exciting adventure . We told you the opportunity MLS but the deal with Seattle is not successful . Now the future may be in the Premier League where Watoford moved concrete steps with the entourage of the player . According to the information we have not yet the economic agreement on how to engage considered when unsatisfactory . ALTERNATIVES - The midfielder there were surveys by Sunderland and WBA , two tracks to be kept under observation . In the background also some situations in the turkish league , still
http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2015/08/watford-lead-hunt-for-former-lazio-man/ Seems to imply Gino is in talks with his representatives currently. Would be very happy with this if it happens. Since Tozer left we dont have a deep lieing playmaker. Capoues passing has seemed a little erratic at times and Ledesma s experience and talent could be very handy at unlocking teams. 9 years as captain of Lazio and certainly not past it yet at 32 years.
Former Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma is on the cusp of a Serie A exit, with Premier League outfit Watford the front-runners to sign the veteran. The former Lecce man’s contract was not renewed this summer, meaning he was free to leave the Stadio Olimpico. CalcioNews24.com suggest that the Moron-born midfielder’s representatives are in talks with Italian-owned Watford to negotiate their charge a move to the Premier League. However, the newly-promoted Hornets may face competition from Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion for his signature. Last month, Ledesma looked set to join MLS’s Seattle Sounders, but the deal came to nothing. Having amassed 259 Serie A appearances for the Aquile, Ledesma was unable to secure a regular first team spot under Stefano Pioli last season. I'm a little bit worried about his parentage.
Our Twitter friend Ema reckons we're negotiating with Ledesma over his salary. So...we can probably change the prefix to confirmed now?
He'd be a good replacement for Tozser, for sure. If he's still half as good as he was a few years ago that is. Can ping a good long ball and has a thunderb@stard of a shot every so often.
Moron is in Argentina..... In the greater metropolitan area of Buenos Aires. The club there is Deportivo Moron.
