Fulham and Southend have both lodged bids for the 21-year-old, with Hull and Watford also closely linked. O'Donovan is now widely expected to return to English football, where he has already had spells with Wolves, Coventry and Cheltenham. Cork boss Damien Richardson revealed talks over O'Donovan's future would be held in the coming days. "I feel a decision will be made Monday or Tuesday," he told the Irish Sunday Mirror. A big part is what's right for the lad as much as the club. We don't want him to go but have to be mindful of the opportunity there for him. "I don't think the level Southend play at is better than ours. He'd be better staying here in that situation. "Roy wants to prove that he's good enough for Ireland.
