Haven't found a thread on this anywhere else on the boards, but WWE wrestler Chris Benoit has been found dead at his home in America along with his wife and young son. Apparently it was infact Benoit that killed everyone - His wife Saturday, son on sunday and himself on Monday. Go on www.wwe.com for the full story so far... R.I.P.
Was he around years ago in the 1990s? Think I remember him as a kid, was a pretty good entertainer. As others have said, if true, he must have had some serious issues
Nope. The police wouldn't have said what they have already if they weren't certain. RIP is the single most overused phrase ever, with random people queuing up to mourn for people they've never met. I often just ignore these kinds of threads where people line up to post "RIP" like brainless morons but I felt I had to say something this time as this one is for a murderer. A child murderer too. Cor dear, calm down mate. Not quite sure why I'm the one recieving this lecture considering certain other posts above. As said before it is also aimed at the mans family and if he infact did commit the crime then I have no sympathy for him what so ever, if he didn't then he deserves the R.I.P. in my opinion.
Well you started it. If it's just about his family, why limit this thread to the Benoit family? Plenty of other people will have been murdered over the past weekend - don't forget them! This whole story is just so shocking...me and my brother actually met Benoit and his wife when eating at the old WWF restaurant in NY back in 2002 and they were there doing a signing...after chatting to both of them back then this whole thing happening now just seems so surreal.
I thought he died years ago. Quite a few wrestlers from the 90's seem to have popped their clogs in recent years.
didnt eddie gurero (sp) die aswell??? i used to love wrestling when i was 10, somehting very strange must have happened there.
He died of a heart attack a couple of years ago, due to damage caused during drink & drugs addition when he was younger.
He had heart problems because of the steroids he took i think Used to really like Chris Benoit when i was young, RIP to him and his wife and child.
Yeah, like with Bob Woolmer. First he had a heart attack, then he was poisoned then strangled, then it was a heart attack. Personally, I think Samoa Joe killed him.

I'm all for a joke when it's appropriate, but before anyone else makes light of this it's worth remembering that a 7 year old boy has been smothered or strangled to death by his Dad...
Steroid's most probably the main reason he has killed them. (as stupid as it sounds). One of the side-effects of steroid usage is violence. Truely shocking. Use to watch Benoit when he was in WCW years ago. Didn't even know he was still wrestling. RIP to his wife and nipper.

No suicide note was found. just got that off of www.msn.com, as bubble says, looks like it was the steroids.
Thank you for moving my post to this thread. I didnt see this before I posted my own... Now reading the fact that Chris B murdered his family, I have no regards for him at all and ive met the guy twice. He always seemed a great guy, but I must have been fooled. I feel sorry for the family he has left behind, how are they going to cope without their daughter grandaughter etc is beyond me. Condonences. (sp)
What i seem so far it seem that people on this thread have said they have met him and he seemed really nice also i know the fans really liked him so it seems very out of character which does point to the steroids as to why he did it and if thats true thats really is very sad.
