Chopra wins it for Sunderland

    Michael Chopra scored in injury time to give Roy Keane's Sunderland side victory over Tottenham on their return to the Premiership.

    Chopra turned and fired home with almost the last kick of a game lacking in clear-cut chances.
    Sunderland striker Daryl Murphy had earlier wasted the best chance of the game when he took a poor touch and was denied by Paul Robinson's legs. Spurs had plenty possession but Dimitar Berbatov wasted their best opening.


    A winning start in the Premiership. if only we could have done that last season :dismay:

    Funny how most people seem to think he won't do anything in the Prem!

    Should have signed him when we had the chance last summer :dismay:
