    In the last 8 days we've moved from being 7 points behind the league leaders, to being 4 points behind the league leaders.

    In the last 8 days we've moved from being 7 points away from the automatic spots, to being 3 points away.

    In the last 8 days we've gone from having 5 teams above us, with a combined gap of 23 points (4.6 avg), to having four teams above us, with a combined gap of 13. That's an average of 3.25.

    I could probably spin it a whole load of other ways, but whatever. It's been a great week.

    Surprisingly clean performance from them too, this just won't do ... their keeper's a goodun I'll say that much but I'm confident Igs can do him from inside the six yard box where Boro never ventured.

    Brentford won 4-0 at home tonight to Blackpool which sounds like a great result. Until you read they were playing against 10 men for the whole of the second half, had 74% possession and, according to the BBC, had 42 shots on goal!
