http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/6248514.stm What an absoloute ****ing shambles of a club. Why do they do it to themselves?
No idea, as it says in the article, the guy has won a league title with every club he has managed, so why sack him?
The chairman/directors buy the players and i think someone like Capello would have wanted to bring in his own men so i reckon he was sacked for off-field reasons. Those are also the reasons why someone like Wenger wouldn't want to go imo but Benitez will probably be linked again and i wouldn't be surprised if he left Liverpool now
It's just my opinion, but I think how he handled the Beckham issue exposed him to the club and the players and he didn't turn out looking good. I think the team won this year in spite of him, or actually to spite him.
