No poll just a discussion thread, after catching an episode of Father Ted on more4 last night it caused me to watch my dvd box set which has every episode on (although i didn't watch it all).

It truely is a wonderful sitcom and very very clever, one of the great 90s sitcoms.

yeah, that show is top draw. makes me crack up. one of my personal fave episodes is the one with the milkfloat, with a bomb on it.

The best sitcoms are the ones that fly past, that make 30 minutes seem like 15.

Father Ted is definately up there for me too, Blackadder is superb and Porridge because I always laugh at Ronnie Barker.

I reckon Father Ted would have gone onto be legondary if he had not sadly passed away.

I got into the Divine Comedy beacuse of 'my lovely horse'! Father Ted was brilliant, Jack with his feck, arse, drink, girls said it all. I think the milkfloat episode was great but I loved the caravan holiday one when Ted was trying to explain to dougal about why the cow seemed small as it was far away!

The 'I don't Believe It' scene is not bad either:) In fact there is nothing on TV now, I might have to go and watch my box set as well
