You could be right. But if you look at the last two months, our only defeat was Ipswich and imo we didn't lose that because we were terrible (in, say, the way we had a shocking first half at Peterboro in the run in under Zola). We couldn't break them down and then committed hari kari at the death. I feel we've even learnt from that, judging by the way we finished the matches at Derby and last Saturday.

I really don't want to tempt fate, (but this is a discussion forum and things can be said!) but if you look at our recent wins over, for example, Boro, Birmingham, Millwall etc, all have been totally professional and mature victories. I've not seen such a level of consistent performance at the death from a Watford side for many years. If you supported one of our rivals, surely you'd be looking at us and thinking 'blimey they just keep on grinding out wins'!

As I keep saying, if you take away the situation of the stress and nerves of being so tantalisingly close to promotion, if you took the emotion out of it, if you looked at our recent form and performance level etc, you'd be quietly confident of winning the next two games. You certainly would if it were March! What none of us know for certain is how we will perform under such huge pressure. But we've not buckled yet over the last few matches...

Are those that are going planning to stay in Brighton after or heading back to Watford?

Tough decision to work out where to watch SSN.

Tbh I think we should take a leaf out of Slav's book - his philosophy is to it strategise for the next game only, with only half an eye on squad rotation for the following game.

    Let's just beat Brighton first.

All being well after Brighton the atmosphere at the Vic vs Wednesday will be electric.

We will drag the team over the line against SW if we have to .....

That's what I am doing. From this PDF: http://www.seagulls.co.uk/documents/travel-guide-april14229-1169722.pdf

When you reach the barriers at the station, simply show the ticket officer your ticket... Simply buy a ticket to the last station on the zone perimeter, and use the subsidised travel system for the remainder of your journey...

So yes, Haywards Heath is good, but I assume by that, you could actually buy a ticket to Balcomb if it saves you any money.

I am worried yet intrigued to see how we handle the pressure of the next two games (hopefully the last 2). We have handled any pressure fantastically up until now, but now we are Top of the league, that can only add to it, maybe even being in TV has its pressure! I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep at all this week!

Brighton are just a poor man's Boro without the defensive ability and without Bamford's goals ... can't say I'm too worried.

I just find it incredible how within the space of 2 years they've gone from being serious challengers to relegation possibilities; I think that they could be heading for the drop next season.

If two of the others win we are in big trouble ... if one of those is Naarch we still have a chance to outscore them on the last day to go up.

Otherwise it's out of our hands.

Brighton hotels are ridiculously expensive and scarce.

Is something other than the football happening?

Didn't think it'd be that bad, even your Jurys Inn or Holiday Inn's are weighing in at £160 for the night.

Most hotels in that neck of the woods usually require a minimum stay of 2 nights during the high season (basically any time between Easter and the end of September).

Yeah...The Travel Lodge opposite Preston Park often is pretty good value... loads of B&B's in town but this time of year crazy prices, Brighton Wave is a particularly good one in Kemp Town , but a bit pricey, wouldn't personally recommend the Umi - it's really noisy....

Absolutely. We were the better team against Ipswich and simply got sucker punched while pushing for a win. It was a long way from a bad performance and nothing like the Peterboro game, as you mentioned.

I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. Their collapse has been shockingly quick, especially considering their home attendances and thus their financial capabilities.

The weird thing about Brighton is they always struggle to score goals. Doesn't matter if it is Poyet, Garcia, Hyppia or Hughton. Doesn't even matter if they are in the playoff race or fighting relegation. Always the same!

"Big trouble" being defined as a better than evens chance of a day out at Wembley - and the certainly of a trip to picturesque Derby, Ipswich, Wolverhampton or Brentford.

Top tip: If you are driving to Brighton in goggles, big gloves & a very old car, leave plenty of time for your journey.

Not that it counts for anything but Brighton have won less games this season than we have on the road! Look for positives...

It's Keith Stroud of sending off Brentford player against us fame.

Boro have Kevin Friend and Bournemouth have Simon Hooper, the guy who reffed our away match at Millwall.
