Talk about bad losers. I know that Sheff Utd have some sympathy on this issue from other users here, but my view is that they are taking the pyss now. I hope this lawsuit costs a fortune and is an abject failiure. I'm sick of their whining about the fact that Spammers stayed up and they didn't - boo hoo.

I can't see why they should get £30Mill anyway, surely they could only sue for the difference between the relegation 'parachute payment' and the money they would have got for finishing in Wet Spams postition?

I don't particularly like Sheff Utd, but I hope for the sake of football that they are successful, as the Spammers should not be allowed to get away with it!!! The whole thing was a total stitch up!!!

 

I take the opposing view. I think the matter has been settled beyond reproach and I hope Sheff Utd get their fingers burned. Anything other than a an expensive thrashing in the courts would be damaging to football. Look at the final table - Sheff utd had fewer points, they went down, that is how it's supposed to be.

 

But they made 2 illegal transfers...and them 2 players helped them gain more points than sheffield...
