Welcome back Troy. The main opinion amongst Brum fans isn't too positive, but, the season is young, maybe Troy will transform into something good? Who's to know? Our previous match, Burnley 1-0, saw us look a lot lot stronger than our previous lucky draw at West Brom. Personally the one thing I love about our new head coach, was his ability to change formation rather than play players like Gaspar out of position. Bravo Rob Edwards. This song's for you mate, by fellow Welsh person Gwenno. A very serious song is about asking if there's cheese... Birmingham's best ever player... Their current ex-Hornet Manager... Finally, with Rotherham away in a few games, here is a song by a young woman from Rotherham. I find the video quite emotional, yet my wife didn't get it. Swings and roundabouts etc...
I think this will be a better indicator of how our season will pan out... Hear me out There were big slices of luck, goalkeeping and bad finishing across the last 3 We've not exactly looked capable of running over teams with goals flowing either All can be (fairly) put down to playing big sides. So I'm keen to see how we do against weaker/standard championship teams - which will make up 75% of our games. We win this convincingly and its an incredible start We win 1-0 or draw/lose etc then I'm still on the fence a little and worried our luck will run out. Yes yes I know super pessimistic But we could have just as easily got nothing from the last 2. Is that our deficiencies or the quality of opposition? Playing a weaker team might tell us
This game definitely will be a different challenge, we've played three teams who haven't been shy in attacking us, a large part of their remit was to contain the opposition (which they've done to varying levels of success), but against Brum and the other teams in the Championship, they'll have to try to create more, which isn't really in any of their lockers
There is a distinct danger that the combined mass could collapse into a singularity, creating a black hole. Brian Cox explains. Space is really brilliant and very big. But the large mass of the universe is widely dispersed, light years apart. To help think about these vast distances, scientists use measurements like the mega pedrosarr, which is the average distance between Watford forwards on a given evening. However when very great masses do combine, such as at the Rose Deeney singularity, the combined mass is so huge that theory predicts complete gravitational collapse resulting in a black hole. This black hole, from which no light could escape, would devastate the surrounding area, but as this is Birmingham it can be hard for scientists to tell.
I would like to be 4-0 up in the last minute when Birmingham get a penalty and Deeney takes it. Would be fun to see what happens.
I thought that last week or whenever. It hadn't shown the whole team. I assumed Troy had consumed them, pre match.
They had Kayembe playing up front for us VS Burnley. Think they have Alfie Chang and Deeney in incorrect positions.
Deeney was off the pace, one nice pass for Hogan though. Apart from that he didn't do much in his 70minutes. Birmingham looked shocking first half, improved in the second but really do lack creativity. It's certainly not going to be pretty but we should have enough for a convincing win.
Birmingham were atrocious. I seriously hope they play like that against us. Doubtful though, no doubt they will up their game and beat us.
Deeney goes for power and puts Bachmann into row Z. Out for the season. Okoye steps in to lead us into League 1. Always look on the bright side
Surely no one in the Watford set up, including Bachmann will have any doubt where the penalty is going. Just stay put.
Looking forward to this one, hopefully the trains aren't too ****ed. Villans 0-4 Watford Sarr x 2 Sema x 1 Deeney x 1 Tough evening for the bedwetters etc.
Looking forward to it as well. Should be a good atmosphere and lift off for Edwards' sexy football. Last time I went there was Zola's team ripping them apart the day before I got married. Sexy football that day too.
Who plays at left back then? I'm assuming it'll be a backup three with Sema wing back. Unless Morris will be thrown in, leaving Adam Leventhal with weak knees for the whole game.
Unfortunately I reckon Sema will go in as LWB. A solid 3-5-2 should be fine against them. Just hope we see Davis starting or given decent minutes because he'll be desperate to score against the Blues.
Yeah we will defo go back to 3-5-2 I feel. Kabasele in for Kamara. Guess clevs might not be fit to start too.
I think this will be a better indicator of how our season will pan out... Hear me out
Agreed on this point. How you perform against your top 4-6 rivals is good to measure yourself, but the way to get out this division is about relentlessly and mercilessly beating the bottom 15-20 cloggers, lumpers and hoofers.
