If were going to try to make a bigger, better atmosphere then, Maybe we should have more instruments, like... Cow Bell? (Like Pompey) - Although it does your head in. Second Drum? - Much more louder Trumpet - Like The Sheff Weds fans and England
it was good today. i brought the horn from cardiff today, that was my brother blowing it every goal kickk they had
well I yesterday I thought if I sing maybe others will join in, but no, as I started I thought I can't stop now so for about 15 minutes there was just little old me singing aidy bootroyds yellow army. I now can't talk, probably a good thing quite a few people at the end of the match came up and said to me well done, but why don't they join in???
because for the majority its seen as a crap song as it includes the line we hate luton. When it gets going if at all just look who actually sings it, none of the older brigade.
The words should not be changed. Just because an element of the plastics don't like anti LOOtown songs is no reason. its fully understandable that some people don't like constant references to our pikey neighbours, but some rivalry should always be maintained.
I read somewhere recently of some grounds that have areas put aside specifically for singing and noise generating. I get a feeling it was abroad and not here.
tbh mate, how can you say that? were you at Liverpool on sat? Newcastle the week before, or Arsenal or Chelsea? all of them were far quieter than we've been at home all season.
I know that you are only trying to wind me up, well, well done you have, I don't understad why you think it is so funny to belittle our team or our support, if you really haven't missed a game in 7 years why do you do it? Seriously? I would have thought you'd be backing us all the time? Either you have a really strange sense of humour or you're just ****ing strange.
I can think of at least 10 grounds i have been too with a worse home support than us off the top of my head.. and i know theres a lot more! you should stand in the rookery and away from the prawn sandwiches if you think our home support is that bad!
having watched the game on sky today, I can say honestly that I did not hear the arsenal sing at all. All I heard on the TV was watford. This is one of the first games I have missed all season and all I can say is if we have been that loud most other games, AD you are either in the wrong stadium or you need to get a hearing aid.;D
when i popped into my parents tonight after the game, they said how good the atmosphere was today. At the beginning of the season, it was a bit quiet but certainly recently it has improved. There is now lots of signing and noise in the top right of the Rookery, which was certainly missing a while ago. OK, not a patch on Pompey but certainly better than Chelsea, Arsenal, Wigan etc
