Was asked to run around the pitch this morning to warm himself up, made it to the first corner flag to his right and was blowing out his @rse already.
By some miracle, I think we’ll win this 2-1. This is most certainly me being deluded, and thinking completely irrationally but either way, we are still going to be relegated. Newcastle looking to be picking up another important point today.
Ashley Young to come on as a sub, score the winner - then heckle the Watford supporters, which includes doing classic Andre' Gray "cupping of ears".
OAP F.C Stadium to be renamed "Hertfordshire Retirement Village Stadium. "Walking Fooball" (which I really personally like), to be confined to match days from 23\24 season.
The annoying thing is there's no way that's Louza playing as one of the fabled Roy-4-4-2-widemen, because that would mean a central midfield of Sissoko and Cleverley, so no protection whatsoever and half a pair of legs, plus it would also mean Roy foregoing playing his favourite tired old Terrier in the position he for some reason thinks is his best. Good news is, with Cleverley starting, that's one guaranteed sub we know we will have to make before a ball is even kicked
Maybe Villa will end up like one of those weird quirks like when we beat Newcastle three times in a season.
Look on the bright side, this side has only two outfield players in it with geriatric pace, down from our usual 3-4.
LOL had to abandon the negative dreary football already Stop being so negative, your the reason we'll lose today!
First half not as tragic as it has been recently, but for the love of God, can we send in just one good set piece delivery? Also, how weren’t McGinn and Cash booked in that first half with their numerous poor fouls?
Villa have played through gaps in our midfield all half, which is how they’ll inevitably score. Need to seriously up intensity in the second half.
We have finally made it to our rightful position - bottom of the league. I hope it may change, but l think this is where we will be until the end of the season. You never know.
Double over Villa! Keeps us having hope. Very solid performance. Villa were a bit toothless. I enjoy winning.
Just not invested enough to care, unfortunately. We’ve blown our chances already, this doesn’t change anything. Well done to anyone able to enjoy the win in its isolation though.
It's a miracle. A good second half performance. Still think we have about a 0.00001% chance of staying up, but it's nice to actually experience a win. Forgotten what it feels like.
******* GET IN!!!! Sarr back and we win our first game since he got injured. Special shout-out to Samir who’s excellent time wasting ate up a lot of time and disrupted Villa. Let’s beat Palace on Weds and make things a bit interesting at least. COYH!!!!
A fabulous victory. Absolutely bossed the game and could have won by 4 or 5. Obviously praise goes to the team and coach for such a display but I feel the real thanks should go to Gino Pozzo for this victory. With him, anything is possible. Praise be.
A very good away win considering the form we was in. CBs did a good job, and Sarr with the moment of quality.
Man Utd. Sarr starts. We win. Today. Sarr finally starts for us again. We win. Just a pity about in between. (I think that was his first assist of the season today too)
Not sure what the bed wetters were worried about. Hodgson lost his first three games in charge at Palace, and on his fourth game with us he’s executed a textbook Hodgson masterclass. Trust the process. I dedicate this win to @The Voice of Reason and his metal gates.
