Anyone else be tempted to offer him a short term contract, providing his wage demands aren't ridiculous? He'd do more than a good job in this league and could help out the youngsters too.
No, definitely NOT what we should be looking at. Volz.. Johnson.. Davenport.. That young (hungarian?) kid at Spurs (pecard?)
Would rather get a younger player with a point to prove in. Having said that he proved pretty useful at times for Burnley.
Wasn't he the one in the gay orgy or whatever it was? Call me a homophobe, but I don't want him corrupting our players so instead of concentrating on the game they all end up in the bath before kick off.
Bit different. For one he has always seen himself as a prem player and was always a bit of a big time charley(as we saw when he turned us down before), so he was never exactly going to be committed towards proving a point here. Also the fact he was obviously not match fit and was never going to be during his spell here. I was thinking more a youngster possibly from the lower leagues whos got potential, desperate to make it higher up.
Because of one bad signing by aidy from the lower leagues it doesn't mean there isn't talent there! Not to mention Hoskins has never been given a chance at Watford. In the other case, Lee Williamson, we saw recently in the play-offs what hes capable when the ball is not completley clearing his (and the rest of our midfields) head in every attack. Jay Demerit is another example in our current squad, he came from non-league. Shittu was at Blackpool (?) before going to qpr and then us. There are alot of potential bargains in the lower leagues and along with premiership fringe players is the kind of players we have to be looking at.
