I agree. Give both teams a chance to score a TD. If they both do, then make it sudden death. Chiefs would have the advantage in sudden death having won the coin toss but before that at least both teams would have been given opportunities to score a TD if the first team did. This would be my proposal to the NFL rule makers.
Wouldn't have made a difference last night, but if the NFL really want to keep overtime as short as possible then the defensive team should win if they get a stop.
Yes, I haven’t decided whether to watch it tonight or in the morning yet. I’ve heard that the stadium may as well be in San Francisco tonight. A noisy faithful may not be as helpful as they think it is.
First games now started Second game finishes at 3am In work for 5.45 Only for the NFL do I do this madness!
Its only Cincinnati at home. I'd like to see how he copes with the 49ers defensive line (if both get that far).
You got my free £5 bet365 bet on your boys! Rams have looked good but I had a feeling the 49ers would do it.
Yep, fallen apart since the mess up before HT. Still time for Mahomes to do Mahomes things. Burrows with a miracle drive but feel like they needed a TD.
He totally ****ed it, although they’ll probably regret not getting that fumble. Edit: Yep, and KC won the toss.
What a comeback! Mahomes was poor second half, including at 24-21 end of normal time. Was going backwards near their goal line and dropped the ball. Lucky that they recovered and got the FG.
Finally found a decent way to watch live NFL games, (typically with 2 games left of the season)! Usually WFH on a Monday so taped the 49ers @ Rams and ran it "live" Monday morning whilst working. Not much different to having a Prem game on in that you can keep up with what's going on whilst doing other stuff and look up when the commentators start to get a bit lively. Just have to stay off of here and BBC sports site to keep in the dark. That last quarter though, had to stop working and watch that through to the end. When Tartt dropped that interception, just wow, that was the turning point. What amazes me is how the kickers keep pulling off such vitally important kicks with the ridiculously high pressure that comes with it. Will do the same for the Superbowl.
So today's the day the Washington Football Team rebrands. All the leaks say Commanders. Could this be the greatest deliberate misdirection ever of did they genuinely leak it by accident about 100 times over the last few months....
It's impossible to dislike this Bengals team, hope they can get it done tonight. Head says Rams by 7 though.
I agree. Head says Rams by 5. Few pundits do rate Bengals chances though. Watching a bit of the golf first.
