Finally a new player we can talk about. I was beginning to wonder if the media had run out of players to link us with. Thankfully not. Achraf Lazaar from Palermo is the new media player push to Watford. Apparently he plays on the left.
Palace had a bid for him rejected last Christmas. I think we've got our established players now and we might see a few 'Pozzo type' players come in. Berghuis fits the bill and so does this guy.

From Talksport Watford are among a trio of clubs chasing the signature of Palermo defender Achraf Lazaar. The Hornets want to wrap up a £2.5m deal for the 23-year-old but face stiff competition from Roma and Monaco. Lazaar, who can also operate in central midfield and on the left-side, has caught the eye of Watford scouts following a string of commanding performances for the Rosanero in Serie A last term. It has been revealed by Tuttomercato that Lazaar favours a move to the Premier League and a new challenge in England, but Watford will have to come up with a full transfer fee up front to land the former Varese man. Roma and Monaco are waiting in the wings and could bid for Lazaar if Quique Flores' men are unable to agree a deal this week. What a strike that is...
They are exactly the sort of club we should be aspiring towards. They've signed some brilliant players.
Can play in four positions.. all be it along the left side, but he can be a full back, winger, central defence or central midfield. It will be interesting to see who makes the 17 (out of 25) for the squad.. maybe even a couple we have signed might be moved off to Granada (on loan.. might be wrong as I am not sure that can happen if they play for us).
