A strong U21 side went down 2-0 to Fulham today. Britos, Doyley, Dyer, Watson, Abdi, Gueds, Berguis, Diamanti, Ibarbo and Deeney all featured.
It wouldn't have been an u21 side as you're only allowed 3 over 21s. Would've been a friendly. Sorry for being pedantic!
Brought in one of his mates to toughen them up-maybe off the field as well ! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._links_up_with_Kewell_at_Watford/?ref=mr&lp=1 Interesting choice given his background -maybe Lee Bowyer is a reformed character
Reading the bits from Twitter it sounds like Diamante while very good is still not match fit yet, Oulare is a handful and Ibrabo is a dangerous player. Jakubiak is in good form.
From the WD Sport live feed: "22:55 Sadly we can’t bring you any player reaction from tonight’s thrilling 3-3 draw, where the Hornets twice came from two goals down, because no player is allowed to speak and communicate to the fans just how pleased they are at the result." Shots fired. Wonder why..
Because the press have a habit of asking the wrong questions and misinterpreting any answers they are given. E.g. If a player has a small grievance it is easy for an experienced journo to latch onto and blow out of all proportion as is the habit in this country. Before you know it we have issues where none existed.
I don't need anyone to communicate their joy at drawing an U21s match with QPR to me. I feel sorry for WD40 though as that's probably three days of articles down the swanny for them. They'll have to wait for the QSF press conference now.
Maybe the club got the hump about something in WDS's QSF arctile yesterday. It was favorable but perhaps there was stuff they didn't want coming out in the press http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2015/10/analysis-why-quique-has-a-big-pair-of-cojones/
Sounds pretty pathetic and childish from the WDsport to be honest. If the club don't want the players to speak to the press or want to protect the players from the press then that's their decision. It's U21's FFS.....Does anybody really care enough to warrant such immaturity from the WDSport.
Currently 1-0 against Brighton. Mensah with a lovely through ball which Jakubiak puts away. Another goal for him!
Good skills. And once they've finished the warm up match with Brighton they can move on to playing the actual cup match opponents - Birmingham :]]
https://twitter.com/Observer_Owl/status/659834238083182592 Noooo, Rene! Stretcher. Walked down the tunnel after stretcher.
2-0 win. Decent display but a worry will be Gilmartin getting carried off.. Where is Romo these days?
I believe so. He signed a professional deal didn't he? Not seen his name pop up much recently though.
Think Ogi was injured? Must have missed that Chelsea game! Maybe Jose should give them ago for the 1st team..
Unless I am misreading twitter (which is not impossible at all) we seem to have lost our u21 match v Brentford 4-3 having gone into injury time 3-1 up! Collapse of epic proportions.
