so they should create a good atmosphere and I hope most fo them think more of our grounf than this bloke: Some seem to be getting confused as to which ground they are going to: "a decrepid old stadium" "I worked on your ground when a new stand was built there around 95ish. Even that new stand was a joke. My home town non league team has a nicer ground than Vicarage Road. I have been there many many times and I would put it up there with Luton as one of the worst grounds that was in the Championship last season. Portman Road is like Old Trafford compared to Vicarage Road. I take my hat off to you watching football there week in and week out"
To be honest as long as I have a seat (well not even that) and a roof over my head (if its raining) I couldn't care less what the ground around me looked like!
It got me thinking that clearly his building work must be of a high standard...NOT! I don't know the company who built it but would you say we did this and the outcome come was still rubbish if you worked for them? Be like the people who made Wembley saying the stadium actually is poor. (Which I don't think it is)
Consider yourself lucky. Where I sit, there are no backs to the seats and I don't have a roof over me at all. You can imagine what the Wigan game was like. :dismay:
