With no Premier League and Championship games due to the International break this Saturday, it's Non-League Day.

And the Stones have slashed ticket prices with Premier League and EFL club season ticket holders able to purchase a Concession ticket for just £5!

If you have a ticket for the England v Brazil game at Wembley later that evening, you can also purchase a Concession ticket for just a fiver.

Ticket prices for this crucial clash are
    • £10 Adults
    • £5 Concessions
    • £3 19-23 year olds
    • £2 Under 19s
This is an ONLINE ONLY deal and tickets must be purchased in advance. It's looking like a big crowd at The Vale this weekend so why not join us and support your local National League club? Buy here

Speak for yourself. For me it's the mighty FC Halifax Town.

Let's have some numbers to decide which is the closest to Watford.
It turns out it depends whether you're driving or walking.

    to:
    1. Borehamwood FC 7.4 miles
    2. Wealdstone FC 7.7 miles
    3. Barnet FC 8.4 miles

    Walking from Vicarage Road to:
    1. Wealdstone FC 6.8 miles, height gain 285 ft, height drop 394 ft, net drop 109 ft
    2. Barnet FC 7.0 miles, height gain 308 ft, height drop 354 ft, net drop 46 ft

    Not even close.

    4. Saint Albans City FC 10.8 miles

    Walking from Vicarage Road to:
    4. Saint Albans City FC 8.9 miles, height gain 279 ft, height drop 177 ft, net ascent 102 ft

[Have to admit it took me a moment to work out what you meant by "Snorbens."]

"Snorbens" - not even close - but still heaps closer than me walking to FC Halifax: 20 miles and 2313 ft of ascent.

    Tis reet 'illy round 'ere.

Always a good trip to Wealdstone. Result last night not so good against 10 men for 70 odd minutes so expect a response on Saturday.

Wealdstone are only three points from the drop zone but surely they'll be fine with the number of games they have left?

Quite an interesting battle at the bottom of the National League regardless to enliven what will be otherwise be a boring weekend football-wise.

A decent game, cheap beer and the chance to spend the afternoon insulting the former Hull City manager Phil Brown - all for a fiver. Cracking! Sorry Fuxbury but this is the future

Sounds like there was also a decent game at Bromley, top vs bottom clash, but with York, who have come back from the dead, unexpectedly winning 2-0. Not sure if any Hornets have been to any games there though because while in London, it’s about as far away from the Watford/WD area as you can get!

Went to Wealdstone yesterday, a good day out in the sunshine and making full use of the great clubhouse for refreshments.

Decent enough game especially the 2nd half and a welcome 3 points for the Stones, their 2nd win in the space of 3 days, they still probably need a point or 2 from the last 2 games just to make sure of safety.

Tobi Adeyemo came on for the last 10 to give them an outlet as they defended the 1 goal lead, he ran about a lot, won a couple of challenges and got booked for a bit of *********ry. Home fans around me not that impressed but I thought he did OK just coming back from a lengthy injury.
