    I'm obsessed with this guy now. I can't believe someone so transparently evil is fooling people into giving him money. He makes Anthony Hopkins' Hannibal Lecter seem understated and normal.

    People like Copeland are part of the Darker Side of covid-19.

    To be serious on what is intended to be a light-hearted thread, unfortunately it's 'Christian' headline seekers like this who bring disrepute to the good works and charitable giving that real Christians do under the radar..

    The right wing 'evangelists' in the southern USA are a powerful conservative mainly Republican supporting lobby group coalition.
    Tax breaks ( because they are 'religious' organisations) , personal wealth accumulation, private jets etc, the sad thing is the duping that goes on in the name of religion... and lots of controversies..
    (this guy Copeland's 'ministry' apparently employs 500 staff, owns properties and 5 jets and he has personal net worth estimated over $300m living in a tax free $5m pad).

    He's not the only one but so many gullible people are sucked in to giving money, it's sad, and all pushing to get Trump re-elected ...

    Copeland IS the Darker Side of covid-19.
