Agreed - on the stream I was watching they said how great it was that Kane always got up and never dived. After they said that any time our players dared go within a foot of him he was writhing on the floor holding his shin.

Oh right. How did the ticket office play up then? It's a right pain when they do.

I would have taken a point beforehand. The ref completely lost it after the red card, we should have had a 2nd yellow on a few occasions too and the it was 100% a penalty at the end I have already seen a replay.

We just weren’t clinical enough, it was criminal the amount of crosses that went straight to the keeper. When a team is more defensive as Spurs were after the red we are sooo ponderous on the ball and don’t look like we know what to do with it. The amount of times we missed an opportunity to play a through ball and instead turned and passed it sideways.

Spurs still looked very dangerous on the break but overall I think they were disappointing, they are always just going to be a nearly team.

Prodl is not match fit and was well off the pace today, got away with it a few times.

Care to elaborate? (Probably in PM so as not to ruin the matchday thread for everyone else?)

Also, did anyone see Cleverley take off the captains arm band when he went off and give it to Deeney? Even though Deeney was listed as captain and led the team out? Bit weird no?

Deeney thought he was going off earlier and gave it to Cleverley. Then he went off and gave back to Deeney

He gave the ball away 4 or 5 times at least, wasn't eager to overlap, twice crossed it straight into Lloris gloves. He's not awful but absolutely bang average.

Capoue was awful, slows the whole game down. So what if he can ping the ball to the other side when he's in acres of space? Poo.

    It isn't clever posting "Goal!!!"
...and then referencing Hereford taking the lead afterwards.

I think Deeney was still on. He was going to get sub'd but there was a last second change of mind.

Happy with a point in the end, they were still dangerous with ten men. Where was Debbie Alli? Oh, it wasnt a penalty, ball hit his chest.

An exciting, pulsating match to watch. A good point considering how good Spurs were today.

They break so fast wit precision, but when not in possession they hound and hassle. I was hugely impressed with them today. They played a lot better than United, even with 10 men, so to get a point has to be considered a good days work. Could have been even more had Doucoure's brilliant effort gone in, instead of off the post.

I thought we held on the ball for far too long and were caught in possession far too much and because of this we never really got going.

Defensively we were stronger though and I don't remember Spurs carving out too many chances.

I won't dwell on the penalty at the end. You don't often get those big decisions against this sort of opponent. I'm just grateful for the red card, as it made it a much more even match.

4 points from the last 3 games I think is a good return. Burnley away next week will be very tough, but after that we have a good run of games.

22 points from 15 matches is very decent and I hope we now go on a good run to virtually guarantee another season in the Premier League by New Year.

Oh, come on - not even with the 'hahaha I could have so much fun with this' heads up just before and the Fleetwood clarification immediately after?

    I thought this was a light-hearted forum.

I think Deeney was about to get sub'd and presumably passed the armband to Cleverley, but then there was a change of mind and Cleverley was taken off instead. (I would guess as a precaution because he was carrying a yellow card and as a response to the Spurs substitution).

Man Utd comfortably beating Arsenal in an open match puts our own efforts against both teams in context.

Frustrating not to win against 10 men but Spurs defended pretty well in all fairness.

Should have had a pen at the end though.

Doucourae once again excellent but maybe we were a bit sloppy at times and gave them too much room first half.

Ref poor overall - seemed to let the players get to him.

Also forgot to say. It's 1-1, Tottenham have 10 men, we're all over them and The Rookery is silent. So disappointing, expected everyone to kept behind the team and encourage them to find the winner.

Not sure how to feel. Thought we were a bit sloppy and didn't create much but at the same time showed spirit to keep pushing. Really could have gone either way even though they did only have 10 men. Personally I don't see it as two points dropped as such but that some do I prefer to see is a sign of how well we are doing this season.

I do find our attitude refreshing.

Feel a bit sorry for Carillo, think he needs game time to get going and show what he can do. His delivery was poor but he did battle to win the ball back when he lost it. Richie didn't provide much support for Marvin.

All in all, a point isn't to be sniffed at and we've stopped the recent historic rot of losing

I apologise and promise never to attempt to brighten people's day with a little daftness ever again.

That said, it amazes me how some precious little sweethearts manage to hold down jobs, pay mortgages and generally function day to day in the real world if that's all it takes to pi$$ them off.

Maris Peer. Picked them up from the local garden centre. I should have moved them out of the wet weather during October as they got blight. They taste fine though.

I think I’m pretty pleased with 1-1. A fiery second half that Spurs defended well

An extremely hard fought point against I think the second best team we have played at home, their breaks when they won the ball and even throws from the keeper were breathtakingly fast! We were both lucky to get a point and unlucky not to get all three!

Don't think we were as bad as some on here are saying. Spurs were very fast, in breaking, in passes, in closing down players. A bit of nerves every now and then, and sometimes we maybe slowed it down when we shouldn't have done. Kept our shape well, and so unlucky with that Dacoure shot that hit the post.

I thought a lot of our players looked really knackered today and a bit off the pace, which is understandable considering we've played pretty much the same side for all 3 of our past games.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I think richarlison should be rested (not dropped) considering he's played pretty much every minute this season which is a bit much to expect from a 20 y/o brazilian in his first season in the EPL.

Said I'd be happy with a point before the game but considering we played 1/3 the game against 10 men I was fairly disappointed that we didnt show more urgency to push for all 3 points.

I'm not sure how trippier constantly was given an acre of space and down the left Spurs really seemed most threatening.

In any case, getting a point against Spurs, who always destroy us, when we're not at our best can never be a bad thing.

It was still noisy to a degree and we still got excited when we were piling forward, but we weren't "all over them" as such.

I think the problem was that there was still a lot of apprehension and tension. Yes we were 11 v 10 at 1-1 and were in the ascendency, but we still gifted them a lot of chances. They still realistically could have won.

You could feel the tense atmosphere around us just waiting for spurs to go on and win.

Maybe thay's a legacy from Everton still, but I just think we were so nervous that we daren't get over excited and so coukdn't fully throw ourselves into cheering us on.

Silva was rightly critical in his post match comments and said we do need to improve on crossing the ball but generally seemed pleased with a point.

Also I think 50% of Zeegelar's talent lies in his facemask. I demand he wears it for Burnley
