The picture from above is Workington - the Rugby League/Speedway Stadium to the left, the Football Ground (Borough Park) to the right. Noboby has got the other one yet!
It's Park Avenue, I know, I've just seen the photo online. Lives have been saved this day.....................
Is that the old Cannon cinema on the corner? My first ever game was Wealdstone v Maidestone in the FA Vase/Trophy. Steve Butler scored in a 1-1 draw.
Nah, Huddersfield is very nice, but it's not quite that picturesque. The ground is still there and is visible in that photo.
Nope, I'm pretty sure we've never played FGR even in a friendly. This is not someone we're likely to play again any time soon, but they do still exist.
No, Merthyr still have a great old ground, this one is little more than a pitch in a valley, but was nevertheless a league ground at one point.
I've had a go, I just haven't a clue! And reverse image searching is cheating! (And if all the answers in this thread so far have been done honestly, fair play. But I suspect a bit of cheating has gone on........)
It is indeed. Ive been trying to find out what capacity it had in it's heyday. I havent found any specific figures yet but it was said to be the deepest of all terraces.. "as deep as the pitch was wide"
I've seen an old picture of Ninian Park where the main stand is very small, a bit like the one at Springfield Park, Wigan only smaller!
The top picture is a ground that many Watford fans would have been to. The others are obviously grounds from their earlier days
