Only just watched last nights but nice to see that the pundits didn't pander to Herr Klopp by overly obsessing about the offside, instead focusing on 'pool's defensive frailties. They could quite easily have spent 5 minutes on that moment.

Still only gave us a passing mention as if we were a mere by-product of the liverpool super sonic hydroponic roadshow, but nice to see.

Just watching motd2 now and also been ok (even monsieur Sherer) - hasn't been a bad week for the bbc1 team. 7/10.

MOTD premier league show. Lineker, Shearer, Murphy and Wright in the dullest piece of tv ever invented putting together their best prem 11.

Literally just turned it over as was so unbelievably boring.

I just had to come on here and moan about it!!! ;)

Highlights were a bit lacklustre and rushed tonight. Made it look more even than it actially was. And a lack of enthusiasm from the pundits.

Least Danny Murphy said we were not happy with the style of football last season and said we looked more of a threat.

Also stated that Arter's call for Chalobah to leave the ball is a foul. I disagreed that having won we should see the funny side of it, I hope that the FA burn him at the stake this week.

Coverage was odd. Bournemouth had a total of 6 attempts on goal and almost felt like they showed all of them. Not looking for excessive highlights when last on but was hoping for a bit more from 19 shots at goal.

Agree entirely. Not so much the 19 attempts but something like 7 of ours were on target compared to 2 from the Muffins. Until a goal goes in obviously any match is in the balance but by all accounts we were quite dominant second half. That did not come across in the highlights. Do I really care? No. The longer we fly under the radar the more success will come our way. Luv our start but I think we will get better.

Surprised the pundits actually knew the false call is technically a foul - sums Muff up perfectly though - diving cheating twunts!

It's just as much a cheat move as diving. Which comes with a two game ban. Which that little ***** should be banned for.

How he got away with screaming in the referee's face countless times is also beyond me.

That was disgraceful. Total ungentlemanly conduct. It is as bad as diving. Should get a 2 game ban.

Do you teach that behaviour in training Eddie? Do you???

I suspect he does, all part of professional football and a major part of their game plan. Dive, foul, cheat and get players sent off. their players likely get Bonuses for such antics

You can see Arter shouting 'LEAVE IT'.

    What totally bizarre coverage!

Show every muff attempt and our 2 goals almost as after thoughts, the match was cut to look like they dominated and we unlucky

Even the Boruemouth fans were a bit surprised at how "good" MOTD made their performance look compared to the reality of the game.

We looked like we were under pressure more than it sounded on the radio, I know, I know, plastic fan - booooo! The highlights showed Gomes forced into saves, muff corners, us with misplaced or intercepted passes. Femina being pushed off the ball by Pugh an of course a couple of cheats by muff players which was laughed of as Bantz.

At least Jermaine J Anus was complementary.

Meanwhile nearly every bar chart they showed during the manager interviews was skewed heavily in our favour. Including their made up 'expected goals' one where we annihilated them.

I have no idea what is taught at football clubs Meh but I can assure you that at a large number of tennis centres/academies/clubs, young players are taught all manner of dark arts/intimidation/downright cheating.
It,together with lame refereeing/umpiring is one of the main reasons young ( and older ) players stop competing.

Can I just confirm that we won the match yesterday?!

The fact that most of their side use these sort of tactics implies it must come from the boss I would have thought. He's a good manager but this side of his game does him no credit.

I dont usually moan (ha) but the motd coverage was amazingly one sided and skewed against part of the stream I saw online. I dont know how they managed it.

I find it hilarious that linekar asks the question "good win for Watford" and the pundits have to try and think of something interesting to say when its a suprise if they even know the result of the game.

I'm glad I am not the only one who could not beleive how biast the MOTD coverage was in Muffs favour. Also that others feel that Arter should face some sort of retrospective action for his cheating call.

Lets face it, Chalobah was in a goal scoring postion, so that call from Arter was just as bad as a sything tackle from behind would have been in preventing a goal scoring opportunity.

A retrospective Red Card would not be out of place IMO!

They ought to be asking why he didn't make the same sort of "effort" to stop Capoue from shooting !
