The red hot Hornets take on stuttering Leicester on Boxing Day, giving everyone the chance to don the new thermal pants that grandma bought them for Christmas. Watford are flying at the moment, with a fully fit squad and playing some of the best football the Premier League has seen. Silva's stock continues to rise after he showed incredible loyalty to insist on staying despite the overtures of Liverpool's 2nd biggest club. His ability to change formations and get the best out of the whole squad, not just his first choice XI, is further enhancing his status.

The dressing room love for Silva was summed up by a recent interview with Stefano Okaka who said "I have never worked with a coach quite like Marco before. His man management style is unique". Troy Deeney slurred "Thish team has some cojonesh. Even without my legendary preshence. Get me another Shtella, Ellish, we're on the Christmash lash".

Leicester, on the other hand, have taken a paltry 10 points out of a possible 15, scoring just 10 goals in those five games. Last time out, they got an underwhelming 2-2 draw with Manchester's second best team with a hoofed goal from turbo-charged racist Jamie "Steptoe" Vardy and a late equaliser from Barry Maguire. On the same day, Watford dominated Brighton and made a mockery of their recent bad disciplinary record by not picking up a single card, or even making a tackle.

Harry the Hornet will be re-enacting THE iconic moment of recent Watford-Leicester games, by wearing an Almunia kit and smashing the ball into a lifesize papier-m*ché Chris Woods' face for it to rebound into the net. Half time entertainment will see the return of the ever-popular Vardy - Gomes streetdance battle:

Legend of both clubs: Molla Wague has followed up the 70 minutes he played for Leicester with 44 minutes at Watford. There are rumours that he gets a massive appearance bonus if he plays a whole game. Wagues?

Team news: Everyone is fit and raring to go for the Horns, including Tommie Hoban and Brice Dja-Dja Binks. Difficult to see anything else other than a comfortable home win. Andre Carrillo hat trick.

Oh please no. Not another game. Can’t we just have an international break?

    Eugh another game so soon?

4-0 loss Vardy Hat Trick. Nothing is going to change after the boys are full up on left over turkey. Deeney isn’t playing again but we should have Decoure back at least.

I’m going to it but not expecting much and the Vic will be half empty due to the fans showing the same loyalty to the team as they do for Silva.

Be a bumper Xmas for the foxes as we slip bottom half.

Silva has spent his Christmas logged into this forum, raging with his staff and players cancelled Christmas for the whole squad, except Success who he bought two bottles of baileys, dressed Troy and Holebas up as ladies of the night and left them to it in the weights room. Performing better than last time out Success is rewarded with a starting place and rewards his boss with this faith shown in him and scores a hat trick. Okaka knocks a forth in in added time slaps Silva across the face and walks out never to be seen again. 4 - 0 the Orn's

We have a few returnees for this game at least. Abdoulaye Doowaahdiddy and marvellous Marvin Zeegalaar ought to be back to replace Watson and (spit) Holebas which strengthens us considerably and immediately.

It's hard to be optimistic against a decent team like Leicester after the recent shipshows, but they did cave in spectacularly against Palarse just recently. There's hope, but it's a long shot unfortunately.

I'd take a point right now.

My flight lands about the time this game kicks off.

Hoping for a delay so I'm not sucked into watching it like I was yesterday.

I said that if we played Gray and 4 at the back we would win at Brighton and I was wrong. This is going to be a tough game but with a couple of players returning I still think that 4 at the back and Gray starting (unless Okaka suddenly becomes Silvas 1st choice) is our best shot at winning the game. COYH!

They haven't got a right back it seems - but they do have a performing Gray in their team.

I'd take a point, or even a narrow loss. Goal difference might keep us up.

    'On the eve of destruction'?!
    Very droll SLB!
I'm deeply concerned,as are many, due to the violent swing ( no not you Troy!) in our form, body language and results.
Can only see more misery ahead but I would make Doucoure captain for the remainder of the season.
In addition I would target their right flank, as Wfc4ever points out, they lost two last night.
If we defend high they will batter us.
Has Silva the commas or whatever Deeney was on about, for the battle?
Doesn't look like it from here but I'm happy to be proved wrong.

Sounds like you had a hell of a bribe just to get you to watch the match ????:D

Terrified at the prospect of this game. Even when we were good we were still pants at home as we are set up to be counter-attacking, not pinning teams back. Add to that we will be facing the pace of Vardy, Mahrez and Gray on the break. I can see us conceding 4+ in this one.
1-4 is my guess. Their 4 scored by the 3 names above, ours a scrappy goal by a centre half from a corner.

It might be amusing if they played the Steptoe theme as goal music when Vardy scores. And I think he'll have a field day with us.

How the hell do you read this? Please advise.

We're officially in the worst form in the league; worse than Newcastle and Swansea. Looking forward to this one immensely. Even though this has been going on a long time now, it almost feels like it has snuck up on us somehow. The deja vu is just positively neauseating.

Actually I think I have deciphered it - it says that we have the same number of points as this time last season, but 8 more points from the fixtures we have played so far, compared to the results of the comparable fixtures last season. Right?!

Leicester seem to be out of their slump now and on the way up. Does anybody know if they, or any of their players are on the brink of setting any new records? There must be a way that Watford can oblige!

If I wasn't going to be staying at my parents in Bushey for Christmas and ready to kill them and my loony brother I wouldn't bother going. The silver lining is that it gives me and the wife and kids a solid reason to escape for a couple of hours.

After 180 minutes of utterly aimless, half baked football v Palace and Huddersfield I am thoroughly hacked off with Watford.

Can't see anything but a 3-0 defeat and players arguing with each other after the third goes in.

Their chap Vardy seems to be scoring in a lot of games. Knowing our luck we could give them some dodgy penalty and helping him on his way to some dubious record or other.

If Silva plays the high defensive line that we did against Brighton he needs his head tested .

Vardy and Mahrez will have a field day .

I might need gas and air at the end of this one.
Full oxygen tanks for Prodl and Janmat if Vardy gets past them. (Sorry, when he gets past). Perhaps jet-packs might be more useful.
And, as others have already said, nobody in their right mind would play a high line against them.

0-2 Leicester, 2 red cards for the horns as tempers boil over, and that's just the first 15 minutes.
