Also - it's got Vader in it. Without doubt the most iconic character from the entire franchise. I think all films made since have suffered due to the lack of him. I'd like them to go back and make a few films focusing on him during the era between Revenge of the Sith and New Hope. I'm sure Ewan McGregor could play Obi-Wan again.

As for episode 8 - I thought it was okay, nothing more.

Agreed. I think Darth Maul could have been as iconic.
but he was killed off far to soon

So treat yourself to the box-set of "The Clone Wars" because:
He's teamed up with his brother Savage Oppress

Seen it twice now, second time in 3D and really liked it when I saw it again. Like the newish direction it seems to be going and the more I think about this film the more I like it. Still prefer Rogue One though, but like this more than TFA.

Pretty sure you don't need to spoiler tag a movie that came out 19 years ago.

I'd like to see a documentary about the cleaners on the death star, that must be a really challenging job... there must be literally millions of bogs

Yeah. Catering as well. Stormtroopers pondering whether to go to the meat counter or the deli section.

Bloody hell you are me? I took my littlest to Broadstairs on Thursday for an end-of-holiday-back-to-school-on-Monday "treat". First he does me on all the crabbing contests (first, biggest and most), then in Morelli's claiming his prize (a "Leonardo") he does me again on the chess-board and as it was so cold and windy (and to miss rush hour back to the smoke) we went to see SW:TLJ in 3D and I really enjoyed it. There was still a massive plot hole
how only one big ship could only track another big ship
, some of the framing of two characters talking was pretty odd but I really, really liked it.

I must add the fight scene with Rey and Kylo Ren should go down in Star Wars legend. A great moment.

I’m sure I’m the only one who realized hyperspace weapons could have been made long before seeing this episode. Right?

TLJ has some of the best and worst scenes in the whole Saga. The setup for the eventual climax feels very arbitrary but there are some standout scenes. A fight scene 2/3 through is simply phenomenal.

Too much comedy, almost a Marvel film.
