If I go to a music festival I go to watch / listen to music. I don't expect it to be a political rally.

If Corbyn, May or any other political leader turn up to the Great British Beer Festival I'll be massively peed off. If I want to go to a political rally I'll go to a political rally.

That being said. If I want to get off my face in a field, wallow around in my and other people's effluent, listening to mediocre music I can do it without dropping two hundred odd quid.
    Maybe I'm just getting old.

I see Corbyn took one of his Jihadi mates with him.

I went to Glastonbury way back in 1995. I quite enjoyed it and there were lots of bands on I like.

The problem was that it was full of people I just wanted to punch. Plus I don't really like camping.

Agree with Meister, its not the place for politics.

Unless Corbyn and McDonnald can smack out a tune they should fook off

If Michael Eavis wants to invite Jeremy Corbyn that's his business. He obviously went down quite well. The Maybot would have bombed. Says it all really ...

    Love em!

I see the Sleaford's as the last chance to rectify today's stale and dying music scene. The much needed 2nd coming of punk.. which no doubt wont happen.. but needs to.
Andy.. the bloke with the laptop.. is simply taking the piss out of the "superstar" DJ's of this world. "ive already programmed the music so i'm not gonna stand here and make out like i'm really doing anything"

The world doesn't need another coming of punk. Punk Was, like every other music fad, of its time .

Punk's time is gone. Sure, many of the kids today are blighted by the things that punks were, but they need to choose their own medium to shout about it. Unfortunately for you, they choose Taylor Swift and Little Mix

Yes well not strictly punk.. i was meaning more something along the same lines. Individuals taking over artistic merit from company people. Taking music back to its raw origins.

In that sense a punk-like movement is well overdue.

I'm going to the Chillfest in Tring on Saturday. I'll report back on number of ethnics and unusual demographic types I spot. I must say I like Corbin's shirt, where can you get them Clive, is it just ebay?
