    I know there isn’t a lighter side to the seriousness of the whole CV situation -
    especially if the virus has personally affected anyone or anyone they know.
    The financial consequences have a personal serious impact and in some cases the combination of health and finance issues could be disastrous.

    But it is so easy to be dragged down by the constant main and social media doom and gloom.

    There are some uplifting and amusing videos/pics doing the rounds and a thread to post some to get a lift could at least bring a smile..

    I’ve just found out one of our neighbours was taken to hospital in the night with suspected Covid-19. But they’ve put him on one of the new Dyson ventilators and apparently he is now picking up nicely....

    Didn’t know production of the Dyson ventilators had begun, I thought I’d read the design had to go through sign off. If it’s already deployed then wow that was mighty fast! Seriously impressed.

    This was just on the background as I was delegating who's doing what for housework (it didn't end well...)... Anyhow it's one of those odd R4 shows - they use a random postcode generator and this week (or the 10th March) they ended up in Elland for a very timely show...

    Mrs UEA had to deal with an annoyed customer in her supermarket yesterday who wasn’t happy the self-service till wouldn’t take her cash. I think we’ve all been there and it’s pretty frustrating.

    Doubt any of us have been in that situation because the bank notes are dripping wet having recently been sprayed with Dettol though.

    "This new device can be manufactured quickly, efficiently and at volume," Dyson added, saying that the new ventilator has been designed to "address the specific needs" of coronavirus patients.

    In the thick of it
    We all have to adapt. Mrs Moose’s mother is on the way to 90 and lives a fair way away. We have taken her shopping and now managed to get a delivery as well. Every morning she has a coffee with some Baileys in it, like you do. So we put one in the shop.

    Britain’s oldies must be hitting it hard. Her delivery has substituted her usual Baileys for vegan version.
