Leicester have been in Plymouth's half all game, got close a few times, but obviously Plymouth go up the other end and score with their first shot lol

I've been watching in a break from Father Brown.
Leicester are a shadow of the team they were in February.
They still might win of course but they have lost the 'x' factor.

I don't think they've ever really been convincing this season, it's just they were getting results earlier on and now they've dried up

Their fans haven’t been happy with the football for sometime .

Good job we have picked up a few points recently otherwise we’d be in trouble .

    Fair enough.
    I haven't seen them regularly.
Shows again how powerful momentum is.

Leicester looking increasingly desperate now that big lead has ebbed away. If they drop out of the top two you wouldn’t fancy them to win the playoffs at the moment.

Plymouth hold on, Home Park is literally rocking! 5 points clear, probably not quite enough with number of 6-pointers to come, but it's a huge step towards survival

Got Stoke and Millwall to play so in their hands .

If they do come 3rd, you'd have to say Norwich look the most convincing of the play-off teams, but ironically Leicester beat them the other day!

With Millwall's record in their most recent two games against relegation candidates, that might play right into Plymouth's hands! From their two games against us, and from when I've watched them this season, they're more than good enough to stay up

Apart from Blackburn, their run-in doesn’t look easy either:

    West Brom (h)
    Southampton (h)
Preston (a) (who, remarkably, are still in it)
    Blackburn (h)

And even Blackburn may need a point or more to survive, and even if they’re safe, a home win isn’t guaranteed after what we and Sunderland did this week.

This time of the season you always get strange (against form) results, Leeds, Ipswich and Leicester have all dropped expected points, whether it’s nerves or something else who know’s, but whoever can put a few wins together will go up. The playoff’s are going to be fun with as usual a team in 3rd place who probably didn’t think they were going to be in them and in all honesty as history shows won’t necessarily be promoted!

Who was it who said earlier in this thread about IF Lesta blow it when they were 17 points clear and was woundly widiculed by all? He came back and said something like no, no it could happen and then got more chortling and raspberries.

Well whoever it was, fair play to 'em. If they don't go up it's a blow to them equal to deeney day or maybe worse.

I had a look at their board. Woooooo! (shakes hand vigorously as though burnt).

Sack the owner, sack the board, sack the players, sack the manager, have a complete clearout, play the U-16s in the remaining games and start the club from zero.

Same old shīt they write on here when we lose.

Oye @Filbert2 compadre, hope you're finding it more comical than anything. It's a bit of drama in the footballing soap opera anyway. I seem to recall you saying that these days you weren't inclined to give much of a shhit in any case..

some quotes from Leicester's fans forum

I'm as pissed off as anyone with our current situation, but for as long as we have a club you'll be there or thereabouts.
The passion and emotions is what keeps us coming back and it can change so quickly.
Look at the celebrations of Birmingham on Saturday compared to last night.. that was within 6 days. It's a drug like no other.

I had the choice last week, leicester v Brum or my lads team v Aylestone Pk. Opted to watch my lad . I know we beat Brum but seeing my lad save a penalty from ex City player Billy Kee and the team score in the last minute to beat Aylestone 4-3 was the best moment I have seen in football this season . Passion and fight right to the end . Think I made the right decision

Been a season ticket holder for over 30 years and I really don’t enjoy it anymore going down to games has become a chore why do I keep going lose my away points but I rarely go away games and if I don’t renew I won’t be able to get a season ticket again oh well I get more enjoyment watching my lads play on a Sunday morning than I do watching Leicester city!

I feel very disillusioned and disconnected with the club.
I didn't even watch last night and I actually felt better for doing that.
I'm very worried about what the future holds and can see us in a similar situation to Portsmouth or Derby with punishments hanging over our head.
But, its like a member of the family, I've got unconditional love for the club. I'll fall out with them occasionally and not put effort in, but I'll always be back at some point.

I’ll watch the remaining games and then moan about it on here as somewhere to vent but outside of that I don’t care.
I still get wound up by Leicester but it’s just down to habit. I hate the manager, 90% of the squad and I won’t even comment on the owner

Losing the points gap we had is unacceptable taking into account the players in our squad. The system needs to change then I think we can get back to better days. Im not giving up though.

Im off to watch a family member play for Coalville this pm so yes, I watch non-league football.
Regarding LCFC, yes, last night was the last straw. I’m not bothering to watch again this season.

Were football fans always this fickle/ emotional?

I’m not saying I’m not, and I’m incredibly bored of our club and struggle to make it through 90 mins without doing something less mundane, like housework. But their comments seem excessive given where they still are.

Wonder whether it’s the modern game or the modern fan.

I suppose we’re paying the ticket prices of a serious piece of entertainment but getting turgid predictably with no connection to the players.

Blackburn's big midweek defeat looks a fluke as they've been obdurate so far. Incredibly, if Leeds drop points here, it's in Southampton's hands, all they'd need to do is just win 6 more games in a row, easy!

While we're licking our wounds, spare a thought for Huddersfield who drop back into the bottom 3 courtesy of a last gasp penalty from a former charge...

It's as tight at the bottom as it is at the top. Despite us having a standard Watfordy season again, it's been quite a watch as a division. Still nothing decided with three games to go in regards to automatic promotion and the two sides joining Rotherham in League One.

Although our goal conceded deep in to injury time ultimately means little for us in the course of our season, spare a thought for Huddersfield who were punished with a very soft penalty against them in the 9th minute of injury time, to turn a potential win vs Bristol City in to a draw which landed them in the relegation zone.

The defender's arm looks tucked in to his body, plus it's only a yard away.

No idea if the 9 minutes of injury time were justified there, but one way or another doesn't look like it should have been awarded and could ultimately see them relegated:

Our draws vs Leeds, Ipswich and West Brom suddenly aren't looking quite so exceptional with the way all 3 of those sides have been stuttering of late!!
