Moore isn't going to come cheap either. But in all honesty I'd rather Bayo then Wesley and this hurts even when I write it.
“Going for” if true, doesn’t necessarily mean “signing”. I hope we are confident of a replacement if it was our decision to pull out.
When goldenorn broke the news to us that we were after a Villa striker, there was much discussion as to which out of Wesley and Duran. I wonder what happened to the latter? Is he still available or did I read somewhere he was off to Spain? I agree that Moore would be a decent signing and with a week to go, it would seem time for us to pull our fingers out if we are serious there. Although I did read he wouldn’t move until close to the deadline? And his former club are sniffing? I wonder what has happened to the guy in Jerusalem? I think it was Simon Jones who broke that line and he’s usually fairly reliable?
Living in Lichfield which is mainly a Villa supporting city and have asked around about Wesley and Duran . 100% have said Duran is a far better player and not to bother with Wesley which seems that is what we are now doing. They all rated Duran which tallies with what has been said already by some on this thread.
Moore will be the name used to string along the fans, all the way up until the deadline day signing of Andy Carroll
@nfh Good Morning. Do you know what’s happened to him? Has anybody snapped him up on loan? @BeersThen Hi there. Depends if he’s on penalties
Do we trust the result though ? Our medical team are notorious for screwing up. Gino needs to ask someone else to save a player for me now.
Came on for Stoke after 60 minutes today in their friendly with Everton. Moore was a sub for Muff after 77 minutes.
He's turd, his playstyle this season (blue) is the same as his playstyle in 20 odd games last season in Spain (red). Doesn't shoot, doesn't dribble, doesn't press, if we wanted a striker like that then we already have Fletcher on the books!
Fletch’s wagon is in there too. It’s a yellow pin head dot in the middle if you squint. But he was on the books of Man U once and these charts don’t seem to factor that in adequately.
Another who's playstyle stands across the small sample size this season (4 x 90 mins) compared to last season (15 x 90s). Presses more than I thought though!
