Played next to no club football for two years. Big gamble that he can resurrect his career but that reflects where we are I guess.
Let’s face it, most of our squad have played next to no football for the past two years, so he’d fit in nicely.
This has the potential to be a very decent loan move if it happens. Quality player no doubt anxious to get game time again and prove his mother club wrong. Let’s hope the usually reliable Simon Jones is back with accurate WFC stories after seemingly getting it wrong about the winger in Turkey.
Bog standard bottom of Prem top of Champo player, would be a solid addition but I'd rather we developed Pollock personally.
Not yet he's not, but we converted Gaspar into a midfielder and Gosling into a right back.....why not convert Pollock into a left back? While we're at it, we could convert Okoye into a goalkeeper.....ok, maybe that's going a little bit too far with the joke.
Didn't realise he was still only 25 Decent option I reckon, although has barely played for a few years now
Ooh hopefully can recreate his previous form. Can we see some stats, graphs and forum guru evaluations please.
He was good at Norwich but seems to have fallen off a cliff at Newcastle. It's the kind of signing I imagine we're looking at though
Has plenty of experience at this level with Norwich and always looked a competent left back and not afraid to get forward. Has obviously found it hard to get into moneybags Newcastle team and was left out of the Prem squad recently, so regular football will do him wonders.
Thinking the same. Would be a shame if Styles isn't still in the picture because he knows what's expected from a VI team.
Decent calibre but I'm always wary of signing players who haven't been playing. We've been stung before.
Exactly the sort of profile we should be going for IMO. Clearly talented, good age, knows the league but has something to prove.
Really happy with this if it happens. Good profile, point to prove, good age, homegrown. Ticks all the boxes
Red (Norwich 19/20) Blue (Newcastle 20/21) Those are both in the PL so I'd expect a little bit of a jump moving to the Championship, his stats for Norwich in the Champ in 18/19 were very good indeed.
Udinese have loaned out one of their left backs to a team in Portugal. I was expecting one from them so maybe this gives the Lewis deal more credence.
They want 5 million for him so probably see a deal where we get him on loan with view to a permanent move if the unlikely happens ( promotion) https://www.nufcblog.co.uk/2023/07/...-5m-price-tag-as-two-mags-near-exits-reports/
