Summer Werewolf 2023 - Day Three

Applying logic to my play - that's your first mistake.

 

Help Team Good before you shuffle off then and name your three top wolf candidates.

 

The second message sent to us today declaring moog as evil is missing a "." on its final line.
The 4 players who have missed a "." in their posts today are Steve Harrow, Harrow Orn, HH24 and Cthulhu.
Coincidence? Unlikely.


(This is obviously a joke, before I get lynched for it.)

 

Having revised my theory, the message uses uppercase for "Seer", which Harrow Orn, Steve Harrow and Cthulhu do not use. Therefore, these messages are coming from HappyHornet24.

 

That's what you say now. I'm keeping my eye on you!

 

In addition to this, the earlier message uses all lowercase for "tinker", discounting Cthulhu, wfcSinatra, Moog, SLB and Harrow Orn who have used used capitalisation for Tinker previously.

 

I think we can clearly agree that my suggestions would be no help at all. The only thing I know more than you is that I am good. Knowing that, means that you could well be evil.

You could still very much be a wolf. Do not think for one second I am leaning towards you being a villager more than anything else.

 

There were three kills on the first night and Steve forgot to play. Would be incredibly unfair to allow him to take no part in the day but then have a night kill. Therefore pretty sure he's Team Good.

 

Yep, trying to not implicate his fellow wolf buddies by not naming them in his top three! (as I think they all know one another right?)

 

Suspicious, the has seems odd and almost like it's a code to your fellow surviving wolf not to fight for Moog's survival as to not give up your positions, can't see any reason why you'd put that in bold and underlined.

 

We don't clearly agree anything Moog. Unless it impacts on another good player, you can surely help team good by revealing? You're being rather cryptic even by your standards.

 

Agreed. Anyone that can't come up with some names at this point in the game is suspicious. Speaking of which, who are your three wolves?

 

In all seriousness I'm trying to ensure nobody tries to steer away from the message and muddy the waters. We go with the facts (or so we think).

We believe its the seers message based on previous days. Thus, we lynch Moog, any deviation from that will look suspicious to me.

 

Unfortunately for Moog the writing is pretty much on the wall today. For what it’s worth though I don’t think he is a wolf, he could be a traitor but his gameplay in general has been very active which usually has all the hallmarks of a traitor rather than a wolf.

To be honest I started the day thinking that the evil among us are to be found in the group that voted for Warehouse yesterday and I still am not swayed from that point of view.

 

People are expecting an awful lot of someone they are going to lynch later. Entitled much?

So far you've accused HappyHornet, Sinatra, CB, SLB and myself, so I'm assuming the other two come out of that.

 

You were a clear favourite on day 1 and 2 but hour rambling attempts at detective work today give me pause.

Why SLB unless you believe the first message on Day 1 wasn't the Seer?

 

Well I did say unhinged! Yeah I think I need to have another look here and quickly!

 

That's fine and part of the game. But you know whose three wolves list won't change that much? The wolves' as they don't have one!

 

Nice. Name the traitor and two random other ones so you don't fracture the wolfish alliance. Then when Moog gets lynched you can point to that as evidence that you're good. We see you.

So Tony, if you really think SLB is evil then which set of messages do you think are from the seer? You are after all named in the first message today which also said Ashdon was the tinker so I'd be particularly interested in this.

 

There is real value in pushing people to say who they are suspicious of. This is a far easier question for a villager to answer than a wolf/traitor.

They are looking to avoid naming team mates rather than genuinely find baddies. But then if they're out of step with the majority, that puts them in the firing line, particularly if the ones they are naming keep turning up dead.

Pressure is cranking up on Team Evil...

 

My suspicions firmly lie with Happyhornet. Her play yesterday, reasoning for her votes, did not seem to come from a team good perspective.

Norway stands out the most other than her due to his non committal stating the obvious postings.

I'm struggling to think of a third who stands out.

No point talking about Moog when I'm almost certain he'll flip evil.
