Somewhere in the swamps of Yorkshire, a totally inconsequential game will take place this weekend between Hull City and Watford. Despite our form being awful, there is still a chance of us making the playoffs - it would be a terrible thing should it happen as it would merely paper over the cracks of the systematic mismanagement of the club from top to bottom - but the odds are against us. The question to ask here is - who actually cares? The players have had their pipes and slippers out for the last few weeks and it'll most likely continue on Saturday. Well done to anyone bothering, I'll be making other plans. Prediction: Hull 0 Watford 0 Pozzo out banners: 2 Ode To Pozzo (source material: ) F you Pozzo. F you Pozzo! It's time to get out of Watford, Pozzo! What were you even doing these in the first place, Pozzo? The four sided ground doesn't even look that good, Pozzo! Are you happy now, Pozzo? F you Pozzo.
Hahaha, I genuinely didn't know we were playing this midweek. Sorry Sklya. Please feel free to archive/hide until this post becomes relevant.
Closed for now. Will open and sticky nearer the match date. Thanks again to @wfcwarehouse for taking the tme to do this.
If anyone you know is planning on making the trip to Hull and Sunderland look out for them. They're probably crying out for some kind of professional intervention
"Will you still have a song to sing when Razor Boy comes and takes your fancy things away? Will you still be singing it on that cold and windy day?"
I think we've all been singing a song of the past, and there are MANY tears, because we all know it may be the last for many years!
Play Andrews, Morris, Blake & Asprilla. Roberts, Andrews, Porteous, Sierrelta, Morris; Sema, Choudhury, Louza; Blake, Asprilla & JP. Some kids, some guys that’ll be here next year and some guys that haven’t been a total disgrace / will still put effort in.
I like that idea but the danger is that they get hammered given Sunderland are still in the promotion hunt.
Our Sunderland tickets landed on the doormat yesterday morning. I’ve already complained to Royal Mail. Hopefully the postman will be sacked for this awful hate crime against me and my family.
Ozan Tufan: “In Watford I had some friends, but being at this club is on a completely different level with the friendship in the squad. It's a group that is so much more closely knitted together than we had at Watford. Here, our club captain, Lewie Coyle, will sometimes knock on my door & take me out for a coffee, & so too Callum Elder. With my mental, & physical growth, I am really happy to be a part of this group here at Hull City."
I am up Hull way with my in laws and thought last minute I would try and buy a ticket (don't ask me why, probably to give the players and Pozzo some **** to be honest) . However, the ticket office is shut already, is there any other way I could get a ticket? Maybe at ground tomorrow?
Might be an idea to email the ticket office and see if they do "pay on the day" tickets, but generally I would assume that's only for home supporters as away fans' get them via their own clubs. It could be worth asking, you never know. I doubt very much there is going to be a dodgy Watford fan crouched down in an alleyway near the groud touting one . Quite surprised Watford fans' are not litterally giving them away right now, considering how many just want this season over.
Cheers, I have been to a few away games before and just picked up my tickets from the club officials that are there. I am hoping you can buy them on the day from them if they haven’t sold out. I can’t imagine it will be a massive Watford away following. If not I’ll just try and get a home ticket and sit on my hands I suppose.
Be nice to see Blake in action for those going - be one of his first bad last appearances in a Watford shirt ! Apparently Adeyemo and Grieves are injured?
