Just watched a YouTube video of how a couple blokes got in, was extremely easy.

Looked like there was a lot of stewards there on their first ever shift, I imagine it wasn't easy finding people to work that evening!

Yeah, filming yourself and others doing it sure seems like a clever move.

She’s finding out today what it’s like to wage a culture war and lose it.

Few now bothered by taking the knee. Many bothered by Government ministers and the rags that support them refusing to support players, a Tory MP even boycotting the England team. For being anti-racist. With no condemnation from his party.

Maybe the Police will make a spoof video when they arrest him.

Social media has created an all-time historic high for daftness.

Waddle obviously rubbed GT up the wrong way. Get on his wrong side and you would be out. I remember Don Howe pleading with Taylor not to dropped from the England coaching setup, but after many years of ridiculous criticism of GT's teams and coaching philosophy, ironically Howe would end up helping Wimbledon, he felt he was someone he couldn't work with. I remember reading about the Beardsley stuff sometime after he was cast into the wilderness. You got the impression that some of the older pros really resented GT, wheres Bobby Robson would still keep picking them even when they were out of form.

Found this on another forum and found it interesting regarding USA 94 and what might have been:

"Let's not get to blinkered in this discussion, people seem to forget that at both World Cup 86 and 90 England's "success" came about more from luck than anything else. In both cases due to injuries to Bryan Robson, Bobby Robson had to alter his team selections and style of play which took England along rather than his original plans. In between these at Euro's 88, England were a joke.

At Italia 90, they won one game in 90 minutes that was against Egypt, the two other group games were drawn, and then against Belgium and Cameroon we had to go to extra time to get through. We got through, but it wasn't great side, yes we celebrated and hoped as we did this past summer, but apart from possibly 2 or 3 players most were ordinary. Taylor inherited a aging squad with not a lot coming through, and yet the expectations were huge.

As for Taylor's failings, it was the same as many other England managers. He brought together the best available at the time and tried to play them all, which sounds great in theory. However, we were more 11 individuals rather than a team, that was part of Robson's luck in 86 and 90, the injuries brought the team together, backs to the wall mentality etc. Same with Southgate this summer, and how Coleman got Wales to the semi finals of the last Euro's, they got that team spirit together."

It has been watched over there moogie. They do keep an eye on what is happening here and wonder why they have not won any WC's recently as a confederation. Consistency probably.

What happened at Wembley was a disgrace and what happens overseas makes one embarrassed to be associated with these oiks as well. However given FIFA awarded tournaments to Russia and Qatar on the basis of money then England and possibly Ireland have a perfectly good chance to host 2030. I personally think it should go back to Argentina being the centenary of the original effort but as we saw with the Olympics and Athens sentimentality has little part to play in awarding these.

Italy will host Argentina in December as the continental winners in the Copa Diego Armando Maradona (not to be confused with the domestic cup named after Diego in Argentina)in Naples at the Stadio Diego Maradona. Ought to be interesting to see who the locals support given he is regarded as a deity there.

Interesting to see conehead Infantino at the Copa before he flew to Wembley that night from Rio. Makes a mockery of FIFA's pledge to be environmentally friendly. Quelle surprise.

Apparently the 'racist' abuse daubed on the Marcus Rashford mural that dominated the post-match discussion (instead of talk of Gareth Southgate's incompetence and the mayhem at Wembley) said 'SH1T IN A BUCKET B@STARD' ! Clever news management by the FA?

Wasn’t it more the online racism that was the problem?

Thanks to those yobs we've no chance of getting the 2030 World Cup now, so we shouldn't waste money trying. Withdrawing now would give us a strong hand for demanding serious UEFA/FIFA punishments for racism and violence in other countries.

I am told Bakary Sako received a total of FIVE racist tweets - all of which were illiterate to the point that it is obvious that the senders are unhinged/speak English as a second language

So you think that 'those yobs' (or their off-spring) will be upset by the prospect of spending a month on the lash following England in Spain, Portugal and Morocco in 2030 do you?!

We had little chance anyway. What happened last Sunday has almost no impact. UEFA are probably most annoyed about people getting in for free.

Aren’t the Saudis apparently considering a bid for 2030? If so what happened is likely virtually irrelevant

It was reported the likelihood is that it will go to South America as a celebration of the World Cup will be 100 years old and started there.

You are right - they will be more annoyed that their show piece final was ruined by unruly behavior than anything else.

Well Qatar are hosting next year so Asia won't be allowed to hold another tournament so soon - in theory!

Guess not - they'll love going around those countries showing off although apparently the police can be quite hostile to thugs.

Maybe but why would an overseas fan care that he and other missed a penalty for England?

Not necessarily, but it would be a statement that could act as a precedent elsewhere.

No chance Boris would withdraw, of course (when has he ever?), as he loves to give us bread and circuses, even if he doesn't care about the sport.

If I remember correctly UEA, you have a legal background, I apologise if I am wrong, when I was talking to a friend the other day he said I am entitled to a refund for a ticket last Sunday as not only was I not able to sit in my seat, I could not get anywhere near it, just about managed to get into the bay, there was no point asking a steward as there was simply too many people and can’t expect or want a steward asking a mob of coked up drunk scumbags to move or throw them out. The ticket was about £265, I am not going to pursue this, as don’t have the time, but would be interested to know where I stood and thousands of other people. If I bought a ticket at Watford and could not get to my seat I would expect a refund or a ticket to the next game. Would I contact UEFA, Wembley or credit card company. I know about a dozen people who were at the final and only 3 managed to sit in their seats.

Definitely UEFA in the first instance - that's who you bought the ticket from. They probably would use this in the ticketing terms and conditions as a get out clause though:

Thanks for that, would be interesting to see what would happen if someone did take it further, seems they have covered their backside with those terms and conditions, it would have been nice to know what the view would have been like from my seat if I could get near it. UEFA don't reply to emails anyway.

11.4. The UEFA Parties, the relevant Host Association and/or the Stadium Owner shall not be responsible for any interruptions and/or restrictions to the view of the Match caused by virtue of (i) the position of the seat and/or (ii) the actions of other spectators.

There's the key though, they weren't "other spectators", they were stadium invaders without tickets.

@iamofwfc a few emails stating your complaint has got to be worth a few minutes of your time.
