He's down at White Hart Lane. They got rid of misery guts and are trying the other end of the spectrum. He's going armed with his best joke books and a water pistol.
I hear Mourinho is now free. Can't be coincidence, clearly he wants our promotion on his CV. Bigger achievement than any of your Champion League nonsense.
I remember that absolute arse Guardiola picking a full strength team for the game against us when they had an important game a few days later. Wouldn't have minded but he had made something like eight changes for the Bournemouth game a week before to rest all of his stars.
No idea what happened on Saturday, it was farcical and all stemmed from Masina being pulled and Lazzar being put in. The pitch was bobbly as **** but no excuse for that ******* awful back pass. Don’t blame Bachman why would one of your defenders do that, however wonder if that has shaken him, don’t think it’s fair to swap him out for the next game but hope he has his mental attitude right. hopefully Messina will be ok for Tuesday (what was wrong with him?) . Assume Kiko is going to miss the next game which is a real shame , however if Masina is back Ngakia has looked alright behind Sarr. Don’t think we will get stuffed our defence (mostly) is to good, even with Luton battering us they only scored because we gave them a stupid penalty. I can easily see us beating Norwich if we get it together , but can also see a **** game where we lose 1 or 2 nill. Playing on a decent pitch (3 of our last 4 games are on a good pitch) will help, its not a good excuse but you could see on Saturday the ball just wasn’t going where it should and players where tripping over the ball when they were expecting it to run on. keep success and Gray off the pitch they add nothing if we need a switch bring on Hungbo at least he hasn’t embarrassed himself yet. just remember we are six points in front with 4 games to play, I have no idea if we will make automatic or not but would rather be in our position with our games to play then anybody under us. keep calm by this time next week we will only have 2 games to play and life will either look a lot better or a little bit more bleak.
Late fitness tests for Chalobah, Ngakia and Masina. You have to wonder if Femenia's absence, and the importance of the game, mean we risk the latter two even if the fitness tests are not that encouraging. Norwich also have to make a couple of late calls. Giannoulis (like Femenia) is suspended, while Cantwell, Hanley and Pukki will all be assessed. It's not crazy to think that the game could be decided based on which side is able to have more of those players available. A Norwich front three of Cantwell-Pukki-Buendia attacking a Watford back four of Lazaar- Sierralta-WTE-Navarro is a very different proposition to Placheta/Hernandez?-Hugill-Buendia versus Masina-Sierralta-WTE-Ngakia. Without Hanley Norwich would be looking quite vulnerable at CB too (with no Gibson and Giannoulis in the side either)
Sounds terrible, but seeing as Kiko is merely suspended for one game, we absolutely have to risk Ngakia IMO. First of all, a not quite fully fit Ngakia is still better than Navarro, second of all, what's the worst that can happen in starting Ngakia over Navarro? If he's forced off and we bring on Navarro, at least we get some minutes out of him. Masina is trickier as he's our only good LB option, play him half fit and we risk him exacerbating whatever injury/illness he has and forcing us to play Lazaar for the rest of the season
I broadly agree with that re both - but I think there is some threshold of fitness that Ngakia needs to pass even for that. I'm not entirely sure how fitness tests are conducted, and how they evaluate the results, but (to use a traffic light analogy) while I would definitely select Ngakia at amber, he can't be selected at red. But the fact that a fitness test is to be conducted would suggest that he is close enough.
Again, it sounds awful, like I'm treating young Jeremy as a piece of meat, but...it's not as if we've got a TDB situation where putting him out on the field will risk him being out for months? It's supposedly a minor injury, 3 days on from L*ton he must be in a better position to play. Still terrified of our LB options mind you, it wouldn't surprise me if we go 3 at the back, although that means we'd have to lose a player somewhere else, and it would mean a new centre back set-up, Sierralta has hardly played with anyone other than WTE
Messaged him on Instagram. Stupid auto correct corrected my You’re to your. Should have proof read it. Edit: I know this is very cringe. Childish, immature, pathetic, quite frankly I’ve had a mare. However I needed to get this off my chest, and I feel better for doing so.
Norwich must be favourites here although both teams have got off the back of defeats. Xisco needs to get the team to actually give a damn and we might have a chance.
I know massive levels. Very childish indeed. But needed to get it off my chest. You just know he’s going to do it.
hush facts don’t fit with my agenda Plus let’s be honest we need 11 people on the pitch that can be in the right place at the right time , keep the ball , move up the pitch and do something with it. Success can hardly run with a ball, Gray can run with a ball but has far more bad misses than goals, don’t get me wrong if either start and score us a winner I will be delighted but think we have more chance with an on form Sema JP Sarr. Thing that really scares me is we must be close to Deeney coming back.
My abiding memory of Navarro was him not being able to get the ball over a one man wall when he took a free kick against Man Utd
This alone may qualify him as a cult hero. Or possibly cult pantomime villain, if Deeney ever leaves.
Could be clutching at straws, but maybe this whole Super League business might make Norwich feel a bit disillusioned (on top of them hopefully already being a bit hungover)? The general confusion could also take the pressure off us a bit and help us play with a bit more freedom.
If we have Navarro and Lazaar tomorrow, I think our goal difference will end up pretty close to Swansea's.
I admire the optimism but if we go into the game tomorrow without Masina and Ngakia it could genuinely get very, very ugly.
Better than Navarro. If Ngakia is out, it has to be Kaba or Cathcart. Navarro mustn’t play whatsoever.
I think if we are genuinely missing all our competent FBs, the most sensible approach would be to switch to a late 19th Century 2-3-5 formation with WTE and Sierralta as the back two. I also think such a setup would favour Zinc by pushing him into Inside Forward, a criminally underused tactic which should suit him down to the ground. Cleverley needs to start as he is the best Half Back at the club.
Not adventurous enough for me. I'd like to see us really try and attack and take some risks with this one. Who needs a keeper these days? Drop Bachmann and squeeze Success into the front line alongside Gray and you're there.
I'm very worried. More so than before Saturday's game. We haven't played that well for a few weeks leading to a no show. We rely on polished football and when it has worked we've outshone the oppo but we have clearly burnt out and I have doubts now. This game is huge, win and I think we'll go up second, but lose say 3-0 and we won't recover for the end games. No way we'll win the playoffs....
Tomorrow night's referee....................Tony Harrington Apparently something of a lucky omen for NCFC
I actually think we can afford to lose at Naarich and still get automatic promotion with a draw at Brentford and winning our two home games. SO THE FUTURE IS STILL BRIGHT THE FUTURE IS YELLOW
You’re joking me!! How is this guy allowed to ref any of our games. This is the massive ******* that reffed our 1-0 loss to Bmuff. Absolute *****!! I’m dumbfounded that we didn’t put in a complaint against him after that game and demand he never officiate our games.
Not sure if you are having a laugh? No chance if those playets fail a fitness test. I would rathet Gray upfront than Success. Success will just be a waste of time. If we lose tomorrow it could be all over for our promotion push. Millwall will be a very tough game and we look short on confidence already. Zero confidence left by the time we play Brentford and Swansea. Then again, you nevet know. Keep smiling.
Im feeling the same atm. A Norwich loss isnt all doom and gloom as we have the points in the bag and others have to catch up, and we have been winning our home games.
