    What a terrific effort from Arsenal's much vaunted front 4 of Aubameyang, Lacazette, Pepe and Nketiah. All that talent and all that money spent to assemble them to deliver...umm was it no attempts on target or maybe there was one I might have missed? Good effort lads!

    The Liverpool celebrations last night seemed a bit ludicrous to me. It was seemingly all put on for the benefit of the players. Even for the fans who couldn't be there the moment of elation was surely when the title was clinched some time ago. Football is nothing without fans and so is celebrating your victories without them.

    So the Prem has now confirmed it will start on Sept 12th.

    The championship was talking about Aug 29th or Sept 12th being the start dates. With the Prem now starting on Sept 12th, I would assume the championship will now start on Aug 29th.

    Wow! I’m actually surprised by that. Would have thought an extra couple of weekends would have been what they would go for.

    You would think that and I agree, however it’s a competition that makes money, especially for the smaller teams being handed a giant killer game. I think they will keep it and just do away with replays, which is what it should be anyway. The FA Cup and League Cup, straight knockout all the way. Unfortunately it’s all about the money. Players health doesn’t come into it.

    Just saw that the CL final and the beginning of the new season is only 3 weeks a part. Whoever gets to the final will have a major disadvantage this upcoming season.

    We're nearly there already. The League Cup has had no replays for some years now and FA Cup rounds with replays get fewer each season.
