I don't have much confidence in him either but Cathcart has shown nothing since the return. Hopefully Dawson will get back to showing his ability as he did against Leicester.
I believe you're in the minority in having either Deeney or Gray in the starting 11 or 12 :D
Neither has shown anything. Admittedly Gray has had the minutes but surely Pearson
sees him during training sessions. On the other hand I believe Welbeck has shown more than enough to start. Everyone can see the difference him and Masina made Saturday evening.
But I have a horrible feeling that it will be a simular stale lineup. Masina in for Mapps the only change. But I'm hoping not.

No doubt Capoue will keep him quiet.

One less player to worry about. Now just Buendia and Pukki to focus on.

Personally I would start Capoue I think he's the type of player that will know he needs to do better and will have a bit of fight about him.

    Foster
    Kiko
    Kabasele
    Dawson
    Masina

    Hughes
    Capoue
    Sarr
    Pereyra

    Doucs

    Welbeck

I understand that putting Bobby on the left and is a bit controversial but I just feel that we need to be braver on the ball it has seemed to me in our recent games that the majority of players are s*** scared to have the ball at their feet and just look to get rid of the ball at the first available opportunity, at least Pereyra has the confidence to hold onto the ball.

Cantwell wasn't sulking. He was angry about losing and for the team including himself.
There is a difference and we see it in our own players between sulkers and those who are upset as the team lost.

They still very much have reasonable morale and togetherness as a team and squad. I have that second hand from someone at the club. Their structure is focused on sustainability and they wont sink financially if they go down 2-3 higher profile players may leave but they aren't pushing for that.

The team ethic will see them beat us I believe. They have accepted they are going down but will be competitive again next year.
    Compare and contrast with us.
Those who think we will be anything better than lower mid strugglers have a shock coming

And Hernandez who caused Janmaat all sorts of problems at their place.

Lose this and I want the players in stocks in the lower part of Charter Place while the good people of Hertfordshire get to pelt them with rotten fruit and veg for a whole weekend from the upper level. Afterwards the players have to clean every last bit up and collectively sing "thank you, we deserve it" repeatedly for two hours.

The youth team can play v Newcastle instead.

What surely hasn't helped is changing the defence every game so far?

    No consistency and continuity.

We did fairly well against Leicester but since looked totally lost.

All 3 in central defence have been poor in the past 3 games and our full backs regardless of who plays get caught out too much in defence.

Fair choice in selection. Would prefer Holebas instead of Pereyra on the left. Has more bite and passion in his little finger compared to the Pereyra of now.

I chose Gray coz he has shown some goals in him at least in the past, whereas with Pedro and Pussetto no idea not got a clue would be a gamble for me to put them in a 'must win' game. Don't matter anyway, I think most of us got an idea what player will likely be up front. ;)

Not at Sarr levels of speed, but probably around or just below Deulofeu's level from the few games I saw of him in Brazil.

Yep, so not only is he a creative force for Norwich but he’s also Watford’s 3rd highest assister for the season.

I watched him play for the under 23's he is very quick and is tricky because he kind of changes the pace a little bit and has good feet.

True, I actually think he could have made more of a difference though in all fairness, I don't understand why he has not played for us more, from what I have seen of him he has quality, the under 23's tactics are to basically get the the ball to Joao Pedro and then he tares the opposition apart. I don't even think he is that raw either he seems quite intelligent he can buy fouls and knows when to release the ball and has an eye for a pass as well. Having said that I think the club may be looking after him a bit at the moment he is still only 18 and don't speak a word of English. Certainly a good option off the bench.

Given our inability to find anyone suited to play left midfield, I’d be tempted to play Masina in front of Holebas:-
    Foster
Femenia (autocorrects to Dementia!), Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas
    Hughes, Capoue, Doucoure, Masina
    Welbeck
    Sarr

Hernandez needs close watching. He has been very aggressive, active and positive for Norwich since his return. Both fullbacks and their respective partners up the pitch will need to keep an eye on him.

He's a super little player. Creative but never neglects his defensive duties and is tireless until he is substituted. Send Bob a job off to Udinese and if we stay up try and get him. Doubt it as many Spanish and some PL sides are looking at him.

I would imagine they were all pretty aware that it was always going to be a difficult season, it's not like they were among the favourites for promotion last season. Weren't they in quite a lot of debt the last time they went down, and are getting on an even keel after that?

Basically knew they might go down and wanted to save money for a promotion challenge to bounce back.

Bit like us under GT - till Vialli came on along !

But they did furlough staff which suggests there still some financial issues?

I am sure they were aware, and many of them probably didn't care because it provided them with an opportunity play in The Premier League, however I would assume that now the likes of Cantwell have experienced Premier League football they will have higher ambitions than the club. What they have done is understandable but players won't think that way.

I'm not sure changing formation is the answer at this point but changing the players certainly is
GK - Foster - There is nobody else
RB - Femenia - The only other option is Mariappa who won't be a full back as long as I have a hole in my ar5e
CB - Dawson and Kabasele - Kabasele plays for his pace and Dawson for his aerial ability plus hes the only one who looks dangerous
    when we get a corner
LB - Masina - Gets the nod is front of Holebas for his greater fitness.
DM - Doucoure and Hughes - Possibly the hardest choice as it's where we are strongest. Capoue has been poor and needs dropping just to give him that kick up the backside he needs every now and again. Chalobah got better in the Chelsea but I think Doucoure just nicks it for me. Hughes is a no brainer
RAM - Sarr - Important game as Norwich will attack which might allow him more space in behind
CAM - I would give Cleverley the nod for this and just tell him to run his socks for an hour. He's a decent player with a good touch
LAM - Pedro or Pusetto - Not seen much of either but I've definitely seen enough of Pereyra
CF - Welbeck - Made more of a contribution in 20 mins against Chelsea than Deeney in the whole of the previous three games. Can we keep him fit?
Desperately need that pace going forward that Pereyra and Deeney don't give us and maybe with that line up we can play some decent football. Everyone of those players, maybe centre backs aside, are decent footballers capable of playing the ball on the floor. But it's movement we lacked a lot of the time. We don't have players looking for space, passing and moving. that's what we need more of.
Can we beat Norwich? Bl00dy hell we can, more than capable. Will he have the right attitude? I would say that's the bigger question
